Planning Content

• Analyze your AUDIENCE.• Define what ACTION you want them to

take.• Arrange your ARGUMENT to move

them.

How Do We Communicate

ToneWordsBody language

Research has shown that the following is true.

Words 7% Tone 38% Body language 55%

Page 39: Robista 5th session

Eye Contact

• Never let them out of your sight.• Looking them in the eye makes them feel that

they are influencing what you say.• Eye contact allows the presentation to

approximate conversation.

Game Field

Page 54: Robista 5th session

RulesMax. Base dimension 30*30 Cm, and the width of the road

will be 50 cm .Length of the flag is 20 Cm and its weight won’t exceed 50

gm.The first flag will be on the ground level and also be put on

the ground level, and so on …….All flags will be in position at 20 cm away from the robot

because of the barrier. Each team will start the competition with zero points, and

the team that will end with the highest score will be the winner.

Page 55: Robista 5th session

RulesCatching a flag with the robot gripper (+10).Putting the flag in place properly (+10).In case the robot dropped the flag before

reaching its red hollow point (-5) , but he can pick it from the ground again to complete the mission.

Max Time for all missions is 20 Min.Each robot has 4 missions catch and put 3

flags and reach the end point so the average time of each mission will be 5 minutes.

Page 56: Robista 5th session

RulesIf team complete any mission before 5

minutes they will get Bonus “for example: the faster will take (+6) and the follower will take (+5) and so on”.

If team exceeds the 5 minutes duration for the mission they will get (-1).

If a team break any rule they get (-5).Moving the robot automatic on the field,

and catching & putting the flag manually(+10).

Moving the robot manually on the field (-5)

Page 57: Robista 5th session

Additional CriteriaCatching & throwing the flag automatically.Best circuit Design.Best Code.Best Mechanical Design.Number of motors. Little money. Team work “each member in the team should

participate almost in all tasks”.Presentation about your product.
