The Design focus of the Caracas Convention Center was to create a multifunctional building to be located between La Rinconada (Existing Sport and Concert Center) and El Cienpies Hwy (Main access hwy) in the city of Caracas. This was a very important element of Caracas as this South Side redevelopment program would enable the center to host some of the largest concerts, corporate training seminars and conventions in Venezuela. A key component of the Center was the glass and Air opening gaps allowing light and air to filter through with variable intensity. Another significant component of the Caracas Convention Center included movable seating and walls and removable flooring which increased the number of usable days of the center and the number and variety of events it can accommodate.

First Presbyterian Church needed a new, larger facility to provide enhanced children’s ministry and community outreach opportunities. The design also needed to incorporate the congregation’s theatrical activities. To accomplish this they turned it in to a Design Competition. The principal focus was to create a spacious lobby and welcome center and to include a grand café area adjacent to the open space in the sanctuary area of the building. The design program also called for a new children’s multipurpose space to include a creative, biblical theme décor for each room with direct access from the existing church building.

This modern small house stands among the valleys of La Lagunita in Caracas, Venezuela. The interior of this house was designed with clean lines while creating a minimalist style. The local geography and climate was a large part of the design. Open spaces were created to allow more natural lighting and air to flow into the rooms. I based my ideas of this modern house on simple interior so as to complement the stunning views.

The house named Casa de SLATO stands among valleys of Oripoto in Caracas, Venezuela. The home stands on uneven terrain therefore I used weight distribution to balance out the “slope”. A large amount of glass was used to create ambience with natural lighting. The spacious interior, the exterior brick finished walls and the natural wood throughout kept the surrounding natural elements in unity with the home. R

The owners intended for this beach house to be a reminder of their youth, where the accommodations were more “shacks” than “houses”. The house would express it’s beauty through it’s function, materials and simple organization. The town of Rosemary Beach dictated that the project’s success was based in being part of a greater whole. The fact that the house had to fit within predetermined design guidelines brought about a solution that celebrates these requirements and makes them a springboard to dynamic design.

This is the private retreat of the owners who have a larger, second residence on the property. The first floor contains garage space for the main home. The second floor and loft provide the primary living space of the building. The living areas provide a gathering space, full kitchen, office area and master bedroom. The majority of interior finishes are from reclaimed products, such as dead-head or sinker cypress. The carriage house was designed to reflect the design of the initial home, which was the first main residence constructed in Rosemary Beach and holds significant architectural importance.

Vero Beach is a vision of Florida architecture, inspired by Bermuda and Antigua Guatemala. While staying true to the principles of Traditional Neighborhood Development and taking design cues from classical style the 846 Acacia and 605 Live Oak homes showcase contemporary innovations in architectural design with a focus on sustainability. This means building in concert with the natural elements of the environment -wind, sun and rain using materials of the highest quality that complement and preserve the coastal setting.

Kevin Howell Construction and Developer specializes in the design, development and construction of professional office parks and retail space. Buildings are custom-design and build any space to any specifications so whether the customers need a high-tech dental office or a large, open karate studio.

Renaissance Professional Center is a collection of professional buildings at the eastern entrance to the Seven Oaks master planned community, just west of the intersection at Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Mystic Oaks Boulevard. The park is just east of the new elementary school in Seven Oaks, just east of the main residential component of the Seven Oaks community, and just west of the new Wiregrass Ranch residential community that will ultimately contain approximately 16,000 homes.

Mill Pond Professional Center is a collection of individually owned office/professional buildings currently under

development. It is located in the dynamic State Road 54/New Port Richey area. The site is in immediate proximity to

numerous residential communities as well as only 1.6 miles West of the new hospital, The Medical Center of Trinity.

The site as currently configured has 9 individual buildings ranging from 2.250 sq/ft up to 5,000 sq/ft, which can of

course be combined to meet additional square footage requirements. As the site is zoned Commercial 2 (C2) each

building has endless possibilities including office, medical, professional as well as retail.

Tampa Telecom Professional Center is a collection of individually owned professional

west entrance to Tampa Telecom Park on Woodstork Avenue, approximately one mile

west of I-75. It is in the heart of the I-75 office/professional corridor. It has great visibility
