Roadway and Highway DesignThe streets and highways of our cities and towns continue to be part of this country’s greatest investments. The roadways themselves have become vehicles for economic and sustainable growth. Safer, brighter, well planned, and distinctive. Today’s roadways serve as gateways, accommodate a multitude of diverse users, integrate with existing and future systems, and help to reduce congestion, environmental impacts, and traffic impacts, leading to a better quality of life overall.
BergerABAM has assisted nearly 2,000 public agency clients with highway and interchange designs, and roadway improvements, including roundabout designs, intersections, drainage improvements, utility designs, widenings and modifications, bicycle and pedestrian amenities, Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant improvements, transit amenities and improvements, corridor improvements, and grade separations.
