DAY 01: MANALI TO | JISPA (140 KMS / 06 HRS DRIVE)

Today we start our journey to Leh Stopping at Sarchu for a night. Today we cross Rohtang Pass (3978 m), Keylong (3350 m),

Baralacha Pass (4890m) with overnight stopover at Sarchu (4253 m), border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu &

Kashmir (Ladakh). Upon arrival in Sarchu we check in at our tented campsite for overnight stay

DAY 02: JISPA TO LEH (335 KMS | 11 – 12 HRS)

After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and ride north on the Manali-Leh Highway. You get to see some of the most

breath taking landscapes that the Western Himalayas can offer. The scenery gets more stark and barren as we climb up to the 16,500-

foot high Baralacha La the second mountain pass on our journey. From the pass beautiful views of meadows and snow-capped

mountains can be seen. And we proceed further through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to

Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and

Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Leh you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel

DAY 03: LEH EXCURSION TO INDUS & SHAM VALLEY REGION (90 KMS / 05 – 06 HRS)

Post Breakfast we proceed towards Sham Valley and start our another sightseeing starting with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed

by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs

about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took

us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a

famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar

River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Later we drive back to Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

DAY 04: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,390 FT. (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)

Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable

Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus

valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif.

Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and

Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.

Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny

villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or

Hotel.

DAY 05: NUBRA VALLEY – LEH (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)

After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel

(double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and

Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in

Rajasthan.

It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road is Rocky Mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in

the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll

around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist

Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facng the entire Valley.

Later we drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel. In the afternoon

you can rest and relax.

DAY 06: LEH TO PANGONG LAKE (140 KMS / 4 - 5 HRS – ONE WAY)

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake enroute visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh &3 Idiots Rancho

School& further 5 Kms Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill

above the village. After visiting above two monasteries we drive further towards Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes

you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session

and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few

small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangonglake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This

famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "Indo China

Border". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this

beautiful natural location has

attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the

Camp.

DAY 07: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (140 KMS / 6 HRS)

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight. In the evening

you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.

DAY 02: JISPA TO TSOMORIRI (285 KMS | 10 – 11 HRS)





towards tsomoriri passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms) The journey is full of

beautiful landscapes on the way when you reach at Tsokar 115 km and ahead 85 km is Tsomori-ri Lake. Tsomoriri is full of natural

Landscaped which includes beautiful small lakes on the way and Mountains after this drive you reach to the Rupshu valley. Tsomori-ri

is the Biggest Brackish water Lake which has no outlet. Overnight at Hotel or Camp.

DAY 03: TSOMORIRI TO LEH (3506M/280 KMS)

Post breakfast excursion around lake and Korzok Monastery (350 years old Korzok Monastery which has about 33 resident monks)

which belongs to the yellow sect. Tsomori-ri or "Mountain Lake" is situated in the middle of the elevated valley of Rupshu surrounded

by 6000 M peaks which completely shut the lake in.

This Valley is inhabited by a small scattered population of "Changpas" nomadic shepherds who also engage in trade and work the

Caravans in Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti the area is rich in wildlife including the "Kyang" (Wild Ass) red fox and the rare highly

endangered snow Leopard. Black Necked cranes and Geese flock to the lakeside for breeding during the summer months.

Later we drive for 7hours to Leh via Sumdo and Chuma – Thang (3965M). Enroute stop at Mahe Bridge from where the road crosses to

the south bank of the river by a bridge; it then follows the unmetalled road through Sumdo village up to join Puga stream. The drive

from Sumdo to Mahe follows a narrow mountain gorge through green bushes.

Chuma-Thang is known for its famous medicated hot water springs where people from various parts of Ladakh come for relieving their

pains. Enroute drive past beautiful villages of Nurnis, Kery and Kadgam. The Jeep drive through this part of the Indus valley is quite flat

without much uphill or downhill drive, a wide-open village. Upon arrival in Leh transfer to your pre-arranged hotel.

DAY 03: LEH (EXCURSION TO MONASTERIES)

Post breakfast we visit Spituk Monastery, Built in 15th century during the reign of Grags ‘bum-lde, these new Gelug-pa monastery was

built like fortress on the summit of crags and also visit Hall Of Fame near Leh is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum

constructed by Indian army.

Post lunch we take a sightseeing tour visiting Sankar Gompa, located at a distance of approximately 3 km from the town of Leh, Leh

Palace is one of the most captivating architectural ruins that attract the attention of the tourists almost immediately with its majestic

setting at the edge of the Namgyal hill and overlooking the town and at once looks like a reminiscent of Lhasa's Potala Palace.

DAY 08: LEH TO KARGIL (220 KMS / 6-8 HRS)

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. Enroute visiting Gurudwara Patthar Sahib

Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving

through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River, Just before

Saspul a road to the right takes you for your visit to the Likir Monastery, Likir is one of the most active monasteries in the region. As

you drive up to the monastery a recently installed colossal gilded image of the Maitreya out in the open is one of the most impressive

sights in Ladakh.

After visiting the Monastery you continue your drive towards Kargil enroute visiting the 11th century Lamayuru Monastery enroute

visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of

Land are visible as on the moon), Later Drive to KARGIL over Fatu-la (13,489 ft) which is the highest pass on Srinagar – Leh road. Upon

arrival in Kargil we check in at our Hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 09 KARGIL TO SRINAGAR

After early Breakfast by 6.00 am drive to Srinagar passing through Drass, the second coldest inhabited Place on earth and you can

have spectacular view of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak. Pay a tribute to Vijay Smarak, dedicated to Indian

Soldiers who laid their lives for us during Kargil War in 1999. Arrive Srinagar by Afternoon. Rest of the time for own

activities.Overnight at Houseboat.

DAY 10: SRINAGAR (LOCAL SIGHTSEEING)

After an early breakfast we take a morning tour of Shankaracharya Temple, It is believed that it was the place where the great

philosopher and saint Shankaracharya stayed when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanatan Dharma. The original

ceiling was dome- shaped and the brick roof is not more than a century old. And later proceed further to Hazratbal Mosque, Situated

in a village on the western shores of the Dal Lake opposite Nishat Bagh, it is a pristine white marble edifice casting its reflection in the

waters of the lake. Unlike the other mosques in Srinagar, which have a pagoda like roof, Hazratbal is the only mosque to have a

domed roof mosque in Srinagar; the others having distinct pagoda like roofs Gardens &Jama Masjid, Situated in the heart of the old

city of Srinagar, this huge mosque is visited by thousands of people who congregate here for the Friday prayers. After visiting above

places we drive back to hotel or houseboat.

Later in the afternoon we take a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens starting our visit to Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and

Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). After visiting above gardens we drive back to Hotel or Houseboat. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel or

Houseboat.

DAY 11: SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR (96 Kms | 2 TO 3 Hrs One Way)

After an early breakfast, leave for a full day excursion to “Pahalgam” called as “Valley of Shepherds”. Pahalgam is situated at the

confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's

village with breathtaking views. Enroute visit 19th

Century Awantipura Ruins. Full day free to enjoy and explore the Beauty of

“Pahalgam” ( ON OWN ). One can go to Chandanwari (16 Kms) which is starting point of Amarnath Pilgrimage “The Abode of Shiva”,

Aru (10 kms from Pahalgam) has a fine meadow of picturesque scenery and starting point of trekking of (Liddarwat, Kolahoi Glacier &

Trsar Lake) & Betaab Valley.

DAY 04: JISPA TO TSOMORIRI (285 KMS | 10 – 11 HRS)





towards tsomoriri passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms) The journey is full of

beautiful landscapes on the way when you reach at Tsokar 115 km

and ahead 85 km is Tsomori-ri Lake. Tsomoriri is full of natural Landscaped which includes beautiful small lakes on the way and

Mountains after this drive you reach to the Rupshu valley. Tsomori-ri is the Biggest Brackish water Lake which has no outlet. Overnight

DAY 05: TSOMORIRI TO LEH (3506M/280 KMS)

Post breakfast excursion around lake and Korzok Monastery (350 years old Korzok Monastery which has about 33 resident monks)

which belongs to the yellow sect. Tsomori-ri or "Mountain Lake" is situated in the middle of the elevated valley of Rupshu surrounded

by 6000 M peaks which completely shut the lake in.

This Valley is inhabited by a small scattered population of "Changpas" nomadic shepherds who also engage in trade and work the

Caravans in Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti the area is rich in wildlife including the "Kyang" (Wild Ass) red fox and the rare highly

endangered snow Leopard. Black Necked cranes and Geese flock to the lakeside for breeding during the summer months.

Later we drive for 7hours to Leh via Sumdo and Chuma – Thang (3965M). Enroute stop at Mahe Bridge from where the road crosses to

the south bank of the river by a bridge; it then follows the unmetalled road through Sumdo village up to join Puga stream. The drive

from Sumdo to Mahe follows a narrow mountain gorge through green bushes.

Chuma-Thang is known for its famous medicated hot water springs where people from various parts of Ladakh come for relieving their

pains. Enroute drive past beautiful villages of Nurnis, Kery and Kadgam. The Jeep drive through this part of the Indus valley is quite flat

without much uphill or downhill drive, a wide-open village. Upon arrival in Leh transfer to your pre-arranged hotel.








DAY 07: LEH - EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY (50 KMS / 03 HRS – ONE WAY

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall Of Fame

(Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an

altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive

of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu

have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide

and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "Indo China Border". One rarely feels so close to nature and

environment and the scenery is unforgettable.

DAY 09: PANGONG LAKE – NYOMA (VIA TSAKA LA) (160 KMS – 6 HRS)

After an early breakfast we check out from our camp and start our another interesting journey to Nyoma passing through Man-Mirak

Village, Chushul – the attraction is 1962 War Memorial and one of the four officially agrred BPM (Border

Personnel Meeting) Point between Indian Army and People's Liberation Army of China for regular consultations and interactions

between the two armies, which helps in defusing face-offs. Arrive Nyoma in evening and check in at our pre-arrange guest house for

you for Overnight Stay.

DAY 10: NYOMA – TSOMORIRI LAKE (85 KMS / 3 - 4 HRS)

Post breakfast we drive to Tsomoriri Lakelocated at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. Recently opened to foreigners due to the

proximity of the Chinese boarder, the Changthang is a land of wilderness and magnificent landscapes, Tsomoriri Lake is also the

breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the

brown-headed gull. The Tsomorir Lake is 8 kms wide and 28 kms long. Upon arrival we check in at our camp for overnight.. Spend your

evening on lake by leisure walk on the banks of lake. O/N Korzok.

DAY 11: TSOMORIRI LAKE – TSOKAR – SARCHU (260 KMS / 09 - 10 HRS)

Post breakfast we drive to Sarchu Passing through Tsokar Lake & Skyangchu Thang – Plateau on a stretch of approximately 50 Kms.

Drive further to Sarchu by Crossing Nakeela and Lachlung La passes. Upon arrival at Sarchu you check in at our pre-arrange camp site

DAY 12: SARCHU TO MANALI (222 KMS)

Today we start our journey to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m) &Rohtang Pass (3978 m). Manali, Located in the

most charming and beautiful Kullu valley spreads out its charm on either side of river Beas. Kullu was once known as Kulanthpitha,

which means the end of the habitable world. Beyond rose the forbidding heights of the Greater Himalayas, and by the banks of the

shining river Beas, lay the fabled 'Silver Valley'. The valley runs north to south of Beas River and is 80 kms. Long and about 2 kms wide.

between Kargil and Padum. Located 130 km south-east of Kargil, in the beautiful Suru Valley in Leh District, Rangdum is surrounded

by steep hills, pastures, streams and rocky mountains. Being the farthest region of the Suru Valley at an altitude of 3657 meters, it has

evolved with a wild beauty. This isolated place is known for an old monastery, which is one of the most revered Buddhist places in Leh-

Ladakh.

Upon arrival at Rangdum we check in at our Camp / Hotel / Guest House for Overnight stay. Rest of the day free for relaxation

DAY 10: RANGDUM - PADUM VIA SURU VALLEY (131 KMS/5 HRS)

Drive to Padum, Padum the capital of the ancient kingdom of Zanskar, Padum (3505 m) is the present day administrative

headquarters of the region. With a population of nearly 1500, Padum can be described as the most populous settlement of Zanskar,

otherwise a very scarcely inhabited valley.

On way to Padum we visit Sani Monastery, of Ladakh belongs to the southern branch of the Drukpa Kagyupa School. It is situated

approximately 6 km to the west of Padum. The entire Sani Monastery of Ladakh has been built in parts, each dating back to a different

century. Upon arrival in Padum we check in at our Camp, Hotel, Guest House for Overnight stay.

DAY 11: IN PADUM (EXCURSION TO KARSHA & BARDAN GOMPA) APPROX 5 – 6 HRS

After Breakfast leave for Full Sightseeing of Karsha & Bardhan.

The Karsha Monastery of Ladakh is situated in the Karsha village of the Zanskar region (9 km long link road, across an iron bridge over

the Stod river). Built picturesquely along the steeply rising mountainside above Karsha village, the monastery can be seen from far.

After visiting Karsha we proceed further towards Bardan Gompa is a 17th century Buddhist

monastery. approximately 12 kilometres south of Padum, in Zanskar, Ladakh, northern India. Bardan Monastery of Ladakh, standing

atop a rocky crag, belongs to the Dugpa-Kargyud monastic order and was one of the first monasteries of this sect to be established in

Zanskar. The monastery also ran several smaller hermitages in the area.

After visiting above monasteries we drive back to our Camp. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Camp / Guest House / Hotel.

DAY 12: IN PADUM (EXCURSION TO STONGDE & ZANGLA) APPROX 6 – 7 HRS

After an early breakfast we Drive to The monastery of Stongdey lies 18-km to the north of Padum, on the road leading to Zangla. An

old foundation associated with the Tibetan Yogi, Marpa, Stongdey is now the second largest monastic establishment of Zanskar,

inhabited by the resident community of about 60 Gelukpa monks.

� Mountain Trail Holidays Pvt. Ltd. will not bear any cost for flight cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason

given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.

� There would be no refund for the road blocks at Nubra | Pangong & Tsomoriri due to natural calamity. The alternate

accommodation Cost at Leh due to the same should be bear by the passenger directly.

� No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.

� No changes in the date of travel once booked.

� Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.

� Food menu as per availability of vegetables based on Buffet | Fixed menus

� Any dispute will be subject to Delhi jurisdiction

� 25% advance (Non Refundable) to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation & Balance 75% one month prior to

arrival.

� Cost of Child between 5 to 11 Yrs (Without Bed only) & for extra Bed kindly consider the cost of Extra Bed

� Child below 5 Yrs of age will be complimentary.

� Any addition in Tax or Fuel charge done by Airlines / Transport Company etc will be chargeable to group members.

� Journey can be arranged from Chandigarh / Jammu Railway Station or Airport at Nominal Extra charges.

� Hotel Accommodation in Chandigarh, Manali, Keylong, Jammu, Srinagar can be arranged on best deals.

� Kindly note that names of hotels / Camps mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these

hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such

confirmation to you. In the event of accommodation not becoming available at any of the above mentioned hotels we shall

book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement

/ reduction whatever applicable) to you.

� Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category

of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise

supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

� We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any

unforeseen circumstances. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost

various locations of Ladakh like Nubra Valley | Pangong Lake | Tsomoriri | Tsokar | Sham Valley | Kargil | Zanskar region etc.

(So in that scenario best alternate accommodation will be provided with prior information to the guests at the time of

booking)
