shleigh Nic,le ngelette To whom it may concern; As a Baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurse with over three years of experience, I have been blessed with so many different opportunities throughout my short, but ever-changing & ever-growing career. In December 2011, I graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. I began working towards my Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree at UNC Chapel Hill in August of 2014. Currently, graduate school is on hold because of personal and family responsibilities that came first. But given that I have a new look on nursing as I step back from graduate school, I’ve expanded what I thought I wanted from my career into what I would like to gain from my career to make me a better healthcare professional, a better cultured young woman, and a better person in general. I believe Travel Nursing has so many benefits and truly fits my personality. I am excited and prepared to go to some amazing places and maybe find a new home. As you will see in my resume, I have a plethora of experiences, including (but not limited to): from EMR conversion assistance to Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department and an Emergency Department with Psychiatric specialty (with both adults and pediatrics - in all aspects of behavioral health, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, mental retardation, and substance abuse). Other places I’ve called home have been the Progressive ICU, Pulmonary Progressive Telemetry Unit, Medical Surgical Telemetry Units, as well as a float pool position at UNC Chapel Hill. I’ve also been able to go on several flights with Charlotte’s Med Center Air Emergency Nursing Services in their ambulances and helicopters. I have floated to countless other units outside my trained specialities, included Burn ICU’s, Neuro units (Medical/Surgical & ICU), EP & Cardiac Cath labs, Women’s Health (Post partum & general), as well as been trained in the ICU briefly, but never enough to fully work there independently because the ICU has always been staffed very well at each hospital I’ve worked at. But, I’ve always been eager and anxious to continue learning, which is why I have had so many jobs in my short three-year nursing career. I strive for challenges, new opportunities, and new adventures. I believe traveling will help fulfill all those things I feel I need to gain from my career to continue being motivated and ready to learn and grow within the industry. Thank you for giving my resume careful consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions Sincerely Yours, Ashleigh Nicole Angelette, RN, BSN shleigh Nic,le ngelette, RN, BSN
