Last year we asked some parents to help with the cooking, which was a huge success and we require the same help again this year. A rota will be printed, so please let us know if and when you’re able to help. Parents who are not helping on the rota are asked to leave the following morning by 9am. Fun, Friends & Riding RMPC – JUNIOR CAMP 2016
For children 8 to 12 years Due to the previous years successes, we are lucky enough to be able to host junior camp for a third year at Three Chimneys Farm, Goudhurst , We have also secured the use of Bull Farm and its amazing facilities, just a short ride away. The children will be able to experience the amazing XC course together with some exciting show jump combinations and our forest rides too. Camp will be packed with new challenges for the children and we are all looking forward to having lots of fun and laughter too. The camp will be run over 3 days with 2 nights camping for both the children and their ponies. (Camping optional)(Parents will be required to stay with their children over night if camping.) During the day the children will be placed into groups and will benefit from structured lessons by our qualified Instructors. All children will be given the opportunity to improve on their stable management, Show Jumping, X County, Dressage and Games skills and techniques. They can also enjoy a nice hack through the forest to round up a perfect day of riding. Then its back to camp to put their ponies in their pens and give them a well deserved rest for the evening. Once the stable duties are finished, it’s ‘dinner time’ followed by some evening activities, then a nice hot choc, biscuit and bed under the stars.
