V. INFORMATION ONLY:
(1) BIOL-071 will replace ANAT-001 on 8/1/09, however, ANAT-001 will remain active until the end of summer 2010. Wei Zhou, Dean of Math and Science, states – “Beginning fall 2010, Anatomy 001 will be replaced by Biology 071 (Human Anatomy). Therefore, wherever a course requires Anatomy 001 as a prerequisite, it should be changed to (Anatomy 001 or
Biology 071) as a prerequisite.”
(2) ECON-010A and ECON-010B
– these two courses currently have no prerequisite; however, beginning fall 2010 MATH 013 as a prerequisite is mandated as a requirement for articulation with the CSU system. Both Michael Risso and Jonathan King have requested that MATH 013 be added as a prerequisite for these two courses.
This is for information-only now, because EVC needs to wait for articulation with the dean and faculty at SJCC, and then submit for ACCC’s approval.
