The Concept of Education ,in modern times has changed altogether. The student is no

more considered to be having an empty mind that has to be filled in with knowledge by the

teacher. The role of a teacher has changed from an authoritarian to a friendly guide, a

manager, a facilitator, a psychologist and a judge simultaneously. The curriculum is no

longer an exercise for memory but it leads the students to reflect deeply and is activity-

based.It is designed , nowadays, in such a way that an overall development of individuals

is brought about by catering for their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, aesthetic and

spiritual development. This makes the job of a teacher more demanding. Thus the teacher

needs to be well equipped with all the skills to do justice to the children.

Quite often the person himself is unaware of the potentialities the knowledge imported by

B.Ed. - Bachelor of education is mandatory for teaching profession in higher primary and

higher School. B.Ed. is a degree course program offered for those who are interested in

pursuing career in teaching in schools. It can be private schools or government schools.

Eligibility :

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor Degree and/or in the Master’s

Degree or any other Qualication recognized as equivalent there to are eligible for

admission to the program.

Note :

w There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination

from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5%

and above will not be rounded off to 50%.

w 45% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana State only.

w 45% marks for Blind/Persons with Disabilities and visually/Hearing impaired

candidates.

w In case a candidate has passed the Master Degree Examination also after Bachelor

Degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained in either of the two will be taken

into consideration while preparing the merit.

Examination Mode : Annual

It is a Diploma Course granted to the students afer earning a certicate of qualication of Senior Secondary Examination subject to other eligibility conditions as notied by the authority governing the admission. During rst two years, examination are conducted by HBSE in accordance with the Syllabi of D.Ed (Diploma in Education). After qualifying of 2 years examination a diploma certicate is awarded by the board.

Eligibility:

v Candidates with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) From Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or its equivalent examination with ve subject including passed English as one of the subject.

v There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in minimum qualifying marks at Senior Secondary (10+2) lever for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classed (BC) and Differently abled candidates.

Note: A candidate having higher qualications will not be entitled to any additional benet whatsoever, he/she will have to fulll all the requisite prescribed qualication and other eligibility conditions.
