Located just outside the small town of White Sulphur Springs, Montana the

Bar Z Riverside Ranch is the perfect fly fishing getaway. Guests are best suited

arriving into Bozeman, MT and then renting a car and driving to the ranch. The

1 and 1/2 hour drive is along well-maintained roads and encompasses some of the

most beautiful scenery the American West has to offer

FISHING GUIDE


Our ranch encompasses over 10,000 acres. We have a newly built

(2010) main lodge with 2 guest cabins situated along the beauti-

ful Aspen Groves that dot the property. Breathtaking views of

Strawberry Butte and Sheep Creek are best enjoyed from the deck

of the lodge. Each cabin has vaulted ceilings and is locally deco-

rated with it’s own private bathroom. Cocktails and meals in the

evening can be enjoyed on the deck if weather permits or inside

the main dining room within a few arms length of the fireplace.

We try and use as much fresh and local produce as possible. Our

chef is not trained from any culinary institute to speak of, but

has more than enough experience seeing happy people leave

the table. We pride ourselves in using local grass fed beef from

our ranch or neighboring ranches. Steaks are our specialty and

homemade pies come in a close second.

All of our guides are Montana natives. They strive each day to

make sure you have the most rewarding experience possible on

the water. Fishing is done on both private and public water.

We fish everywhere from trophy private lakes to famous public

rivers; like Yellowstone, Madison, and Missouri. Depending

upon your preferences and experience, our guides will host you

on the waters they think you’ll enjoy the most.

Non-Angling Activities: From horseback riding to photography you’ll be sure and find something to do on vaca-

tion here at the ranch. With thousands of accessible acres of both private and public, guests can experience Mon-

tana the way it was meant to be experienced- leave the crowds behind
