History of Riverside
Riverside, which used to be named Bad Blintz, started off many years ago as a small farmer’s market and since then, has been growing into a
fairly populated town. Even though the town has a quiet history, there was one great event that happened not too long ago, that changed
the town forever; Man and Beast created a bond so great, nothing could tear it apart. And
by beast, we mean rats. Thousands of rats; walking amongst humans. But here’s the catch: these rats are intelligent individuals who talk.
Yes, you read that right. These rats are intellectual beings that you have to meet to believe. Now, the town of Riverside has an organized community of rats and humans.
Everyone here is treated equal and has equal rights. Even the street signs are written in both English and Rat Language. This shows how we
accept the rats into our society.

Market
The Market of Bad Blintz is a great place to go browsing for delicious and
healthy food with a warm, family friendly environment. Our market includes many different fruits and vegetables fresh picked from the fields by Peaches and Dangerous
Beans. Page 3

Don’t forget to visit the Maurice
Theatre where you can see whimsical
plays with a few dance
numbers from our talented
fellow, Sardines.
People come from miles
around just to see our
amazing clock tower. Every
day, when the clock hits the hour, all the
rats come out and strike the
bell.

A good way to start off your day, is to go to the Rat Museum and learn about all
the strange artifacts used by rats to survive through
everyday life. Once you are done at the museum, dine in at our Ratte Appétito
restaurant where you can try our famous
Rat Burger (Guaranteed No Rat).
If you go to the Rat Relations kiosk, you can schedule a tour for your family of the Mayor’s house located on the far west side of town.
Musical Entertainment

Every afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., our young Rat Piper, Keith,
plays marvelous music on his beloved flutes and piccolos.
When he plays, the rats dance to the music, usually in a conga line. Keith’s performances are held at the Maurice Theatre and last up to two hours.
