Prescribed qualifications

Essential: 1. Should have passed V!i Std. 2. Should have passed Maritime School New Entrants Course in either Deck or Engine Department. 3. Should be proficient in swimming. 4. Should be physically strong with good eye sight and sense of hearing. 5. Knowledge of konkani Desirable : 1. 6 months experience as Sailor on board on inland vessel. 2. Knowledge of Marathi. Essential: l.SSC or equivalent 2. Knowledge of Konkani Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Marathi.

Carpenter Gr. 'C

1- Gen Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 plus Gr. P of Rs.1900/- p.m

Essentia!: 1. ITI Certificate in the trade of carpenter with 3 years experience from recognised institution. 2. Knowledge of Konkani Desirable Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Marathi.

(f) Caste Certificate for reserved posts. 2. Age limit: 18 years and above not exceeding 42 years (relaxable to reserved categories and Govt, servants as per orders/instructions issued by the Government 3.
