Potential Hazard Hazard Rating How can thehazard be avoidedor reduced?

Responsibility

Busy roads nearscene, possible to

get run over orinjured.

4 This hazard can beavoided by keeping

all cast and crewaway from theroads.

Crewmemberscan help to do so.

Area near thestation issurrounded by antisocial peoplerelated to drugusing and such, this results in themexhibitingaggressive

behaviour.

5 Try to avoidpointing thecamera at thesepeople as they maybecome easilyagitated, Or wecould just limit theamount of timefilming around the

area.

This is mainly thecrewmembers jobas they have mostof the equipment.

The area in whichwe filmed becamewet due to theweather so therewas a risk that wemight slip andinjure ourselves.

3 This hazard can beavoided by doingall running scenesin enclosed placesor wait for the rainto dry beforefilming.

This would bedown to both theactors and crew.

Filming nearbystander’s carsmay causedistress from theowners as theymay assume thatwe are trying tobreak in ordamage thevehicle.

1 This can be easilyavoided by stayingwell clear of thevehicles thereforepreventing anymishap.

Both the crew andactors.

Filming in the

dark alley waymay encouragetheft or harm aspublic are nottheir to witness ifanythinghappens to thecast and crew.

4 If the place is

necessary to filmin, then take fullprecautions andhold allequipment closeso that nothing isstolen.

This lies on the

crewmembers todelegate what isto happen.

In the scenewhere Mr Mashahad to jump intothe parking lot,he could’ve

seriously hurthimself by fallingdown from thatheight onto theconcrete floor.

3 Due to the factthat this shot wasneeded, weencouraged Alexto slow down

when he was jumping and alsobending hisknees when hetouched the floorto prevent anyharm to his body.

The actor AlexanderMasha.

In the chasescene, actors arerunning very fastmeaning there is

a high risk oftripping fallingresulting in aninjury.

4 Actors could slowdown whenrunning and just jog, and after the

filing process iscomplete, wecould use theediting softwareto speed up thescene making itlook like theywere running.

This is down tothe actors justslowing down.

In the parking lot, actors areencouraged torun up the stairs, this could resultin them trippingup on a step andinjuringthemselves.

3 This could beavoided by doinga similartechnique to thelast point by usingthe editingsoftware to trickthe audience.

This is down tothe actors.

When actor, Alexhad to fall downthe stairs due to

his death in thefilm, he mighthave injuredhimself due torough edges or just the overallstructure of theconcrete floor.

4 Alex could try andhold onto therailing located to

the left side of thestaircase from hispoint of view andslow down his fallmaking it saferand more realisticaccording to thefilm.

This is down tothechoreography of

the director aswell as theacting of AlexanderMasha as theactor.

When actorswere passingthrough doors, the worn outhandles may

have grazed thehands of theactors.

2 They could lightlygrab it preventingany deep tissuedamage.

This is theresponsibility ofthe actors.

Due to the factthat the lastscene was shotin a parking lot, cars werereversing toleave the carpark, as well as

cars entering thecar park, whichcould havepotentiallyinjured membersof the cast andcrew.

4 Be cautious as towhen we arefilming and notifyall members ofcast and crewwhen they see acar moving.

This is theresponsibility ofeveryone on set.

When Tewandawas killed, he fellonto theconcrete floor. This may haveresulted in backdamage or headdamage as thiswas exposed.

2 The actor couldfall even moreslowly than healready is to addtension to thescene as well aspreventing himfrom hurtinghimself.

This is theactor’s job to do.

The use of thegun in theparking lot wasvery risky, as

bystanders mayhave thoughtthat the gun wasreal and mayhave reported usto the authorities.

5 The gun shouldbe used in darkplaces and out ofsight of

bystanders.Worse comes toworst, everyoneon set shouldwarn if anybystanders cometo the scene sothat the gun canbe hidden.

This is the job ofeveryone on set.

When placingthe camera incertain places toutilise theatmosphere, we

came close tocars andvehiclessurrounding thecar park whichmay haveannoyed theowners thereforestarting rows.
