Using iQ-RIS dictation modules, ra-diologists can dictate their reports digitally, transmit dictations to local or remote transcriptionists, use voice recognition systems or the innovative structured report assistant.

iQ-RIS supports several report formats, such as DICOM Structured Reports, PDF or the classic MS Office Word® format. Reports can easily be printed, stored on optical media or automati-cally handed over to the iQ-WEBX web portal (PACS) for the computer-ized distribution to connected hospi-tals or referring physicians.

the iQ-RIS REPORTING modules have been structured to offer very flexible and efficient options.:

iQ-RIS REPORTING PHYSICIAN pro-vides a user interface optimized to type-in, edit and manage medical findings in a structured way. It offers advanced functions to format the text, create and use context-specific report templates and to distribute the report at any time.

Users may dictate reports digitally and transmit these dictation files to local or remote typists with the iQ-DICTATION module.

Using iQ-RIS REPORTING TRANSCRIP-TIONIST, transcriptionists type in dic-tation files they receive from radi-ologists. Afterwards, the transcribed reports are ready to be validated by the radiologist who dictated them.

With the integration of the speech recognition engine iQ-VOICE, iQ-RIS is able to understand the human voice either online or both, online and offline. Dictations in iQ-VOICE are automatically converted into writing and can be edited and vali-dated right after being finished, thus saving time and increasing the ope-rational efficiency.
