I hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful weather. In just a few weeks we will have a much needed Spring Break (March 10-14) and a time for you to enjoy your children. I have one important item I would like to address with you. We will be offering summer school this year and you will begin to receive infor- mation. Please make sure you speak with your son/daughter regarding this opportunity. Since there is a cost associated with summer school, we will have payment plans available. When you be- gin to receive the information, please look at it carefully and have your son/daughter attend if they need to make up credits. We want to give every opportunity for our students to be success- ful, and summer school is a way they can do this. Thank you for all you do for your children and giv- ing them every opportunity to be successful. Sincerely, Shelly Vroegh Principal, Rio Rico High School Principal’s Office Freshmen Academy March is the beginning of our transition from freshmen to sophomore. Registration has already started. It is also an important time to stay on students about homework and studying. Encourage them to use advisory class wisely. Please check and use the parent portal fre- quently to support your student. After school tutoring and Homework Recovery is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4:00 pm with a 4:00 pm bus available to those students.
