RIKA Conference DNA• RIKA Conference is designed to become the premier conference for women in
Africa. The intention is to create a platform where generations interact and add value to one another. The RIKA Conference is a nation’s party prepared by women for the generations of men, women, young men and young women!
• RIKA’s bigger and audacious goal is to network generations of women and men from all over Africa, representative of a spectrum of all walks of life; social, cultural, economic, religious backgrounds and perspectives. This means we shall be holding RIKA conference in different countries in Africa every two years.
• RIKA Conference is seeking to partner with organizations who: One; have business projections that transcend generations , or Two; have an Africa-wide vision, or Three; are already doing business across Africa.
About Alabastron• Alabastron Network Trust is a non-profit organisation launched in 2008 by Laimani Bidali.
• The mission of Alabastron is to continuously equip women with life skills that help them
identify and overcome self defeating patterns and renew their minds through increased self
awareness, self esteem and self confidence in order to live significantly.
• Alabastron has five programs. The Renewing Self program is one of Alabastron’s programs
and is currently in its 9th season. So far, 1,500 women have successfully been through this
program, with over 80 volunteer guides.

• RIKA is one of Alabastron’s initiatives to equip generations to live significantly.

Overall theme: My Generation will Impact Generations! The objective is to rally generations to
positively impact other generations.
• Theme 1: Let's inspire women to live beyond their past circumstances. The objective is to
encourage women to focus on the future no matter their past circumstances.
• Theme 2: Let's invest in women social enterprises. The objective is to showcase and encourage
women currently involved in social enterprises that provide essential services to our
• communities.
• Theme 3: Let’s connect your dreams to opportunities and money.
The objective is to assist women to seize opportunities and in the
process make a living.
• Theme 4: Let's equip today’s young women with life skills to live
significantly. The objective is to empower young women in universities
and colleges to overcome the numerous challenges they face.
