Fiber Rope The winch is designed for use with fiber rope up to 12 mm ( 1/2 in) in diameter, reducing weight and allowing alignment to the load. Smooth surfaces and chafe-free design are sympathetic to fiber rope. Design Sculpted to remove excess weight and provide multiple attachment points, whilst maintaining strength. The rope guide ensures correct alignment and loading of the winch for maximum efficiency. Winch Aluminium Radial 40.2 winch with 17- 4PH stainless steel load-carrying gears and pins for strength and durability. Unique drum design for maximum grip on the rope. The Riggers Winch provides the user with a lightweight, CE certified, portable winch mounted to a robust adaptor plate. Weighing 7 kg (15.4 lb) with a 1/2 tonne working load limit the 2 speed winch magnifies the operator pulling power by up to 40 times. The multiple mounting options provides versatility when working in difficult or remote environments. Q: What is the maximum line operating length?A: There is no maximum line length for use with the Riggers Winch. The rope guide allows the
rope to be installed without feeding the end of the line through.
Q: Is the Riggers Winch suitable for human suspension?A: Yes, the Riggers Winch 500 may be used for human suspension in accordance
with LOLER Reg 5 (Secondary Fall Prevention Equipment). The Riggers Winch 200 can be used for lifting and pulling only.
Q: Is the Riggers Winch supplied with the attachment fittings?A: No. Attachments and fittings are dependent on operational use. Our
Tech Team can provide advice on the best attachment solution for your requirements.
Q: Can I service my own Riggers Winch?A: Yes; servicing and maintenance of the winch should be carried
out in accordance with the Harken service instructions and only using Harken approved replacement parts and consumables.
Maximum rated load for lifting & pulling load applications (coefficient ratio 5:1 of breaking load); Maximum rated load for human suspension = 250 kg (coefficient ratio 10:1 of breaking load); marked in accordance with the Machinery Directive and EN13157.2004 standard.
