The Rig Skidding System allows a drilling rig to be moved laterally. Often times, rigs are

disassembled, transported, and then reassembled on an adjacent well. Our rig skidding system

eliminates the timely, haphazard process of rig down. Our rig skidding system uses hydraulics to safely

lift and traverse the entire rig with control, stability, and precision to its new drilling location.

The Rig Skidding System features a 2.4 million pound lift capacity which gives the users the ability to

not only skid the rig but also transport full stands of setback in 8 directions. Our rig skidding system

allows your rig to skid 10 feet in 15 minutes, eliminating the need for other contractors to assist with the

rig move. With no rig down, our rig skidding system means less wear on the structure, less time to

the Rig Walker advertise longer step strokes or faster rig skidding, the speed of our rig skidding system

was designed to be 40 feet per hour to maximize safety. The 1 foot per stroke step is intended for

stability, reliability, and safety - which are the most essential concerns in rig skidding operations.
