• The Slim, Ultimate, Glide and Cruize models can be scripted by adding a prescription RX Gasket

• The RX Gasket holds the prescription lens and sits in-between the Ugly Fish lens and the foam insert

• The advantages of a prescription RX Gasket over more traditional direct in frame prescription includes;

> The ability to take the prescription RX Gasket with you to a new set of the same Ugly Fish glasses. This will save you the cost of a new prescription

> The prescription RX Gasket is protected by the Ugly Fish lens so it is less likely to become damaged

> The RX Gasket can be used in all versions of the same model. This is particularly useful if you own a multi-lens pack. Regardless of whether you’re wearing a smoke, clear or yellow lens you can insert your prescription and have crystal clear vision

> It is often much cheaper to have your prescription fitted into the RX Gasket as opposed to a direct in frame option

• The RX Gasket is sold separately and is a custom fit to each model. Please ensure the correct RX Gasket is ordered

• Anti-fog lens cleaner included with the RX Gasket

• Prescription should be fitted through a qualified optometrist. RX gaskets are suited to distance only or multifocal scripts.

WHY POLARISED?Polarised lenses eliminate harmful UV rays to prevent squinting and increase wearer comfort. Polarised lenses also enhance colours and visual clarity.

Polarised lenses are perfect for the rider who predominately rides throughout the day in bright sunny conditions to prevent squinting and to ensure you can clearly see the road ahead of you. Polarised lenses work best when worn with an open face helmet, or with your visor up, as some helmet visor tints may cause a reaction to the polarised lens resulting in distorted vision.

WHY PHOTOCHROMIC?Photochromic lenses automatically adapt (or transition) to changes in light conditions. The lens will darken when exposed to ultraviolet light and lighten in low light. Smoke photochromic lenses will change from clear to smoke whilst yellow photochromic lenses will change from a light yellow/clear to a smoke brown.

Photochromic lenses are perfect for the rider who;

> Rides day and night, ensuring you always have the right coloured lens for the riding conditions

> Wants to avoid carrying multiple sets of glasses with them and changing between lens colours based on riding conditions

WHY NON-POLARISED?The Ugly Fish range features non-polarised lenses in both a sunglass and a goggle as each suits different riding conditions.

SUNGLASSES.Sunglasses are best suited to the rider who wears a closed face helmet as typically the helmet visor is already polarised and wearing polarised on polarised may actually distort vision. All Ugly Fish sunglasses feature maximum UV protection of Category 3.

GOGGLES.Goggles are available in a smoke, clear and yellow lens. Goggles are best suited to the rider who wears an open face helmet as the foam insert protects eyes from wind, dust and any random flying objects. The foam insert can also be removed to be worn under closed face helmets or as a sunglass when not out riding. Each lens colour is best suited to different riding conditions.

> Smoke - Great for riding during the day as it provides maximum UV protection of Category 3. A blue or red mirror lens is also available in some models which also provides maximum UV protection.

> Clear - Best suited for overcast conditions or night time riding as these lenses offer Category 0 UV protection.

> Yellow - The ideal choice for riders who predominately ride at night as yellow lenses offer increased contrast to enhance vision and cut unwanted glare from artificial street lights. Yellow lenses offer Category 0 UV protection.
