• But the summary route information suggests it

2. The Ride Statistics
• Route length: 100 miles (hence the name...)
• That’s 161km, metric fans
• You’ll be climbing around 4,325ft (1,318m)
• You have 9 hours in which to complete the
course
• To do that, you’ll have to average ~12mph
(19km/h), allowing 30 mins for rest stops

• Box Hill was resurfaced for the Olympics:

• If you’ve trained to complete 100 miles in one
day, you’ll get over the climbs, so...
• DON’T panic... but...
• DO treat them with respect
• Both major climbs are in the second half, so...
