In order to compile an acceptable full paper for INTERPRAEVENT 2012, which fulfils the requirements for post production and printing we kindly ask you to prepare your manuscript according to these guidelines. This document is all-in-one, a guideline and a template. You can easily copy plaintext (non-formatted), illustrations and tables into this template.Preparing your manuscript in the given style the Scientific Advisory board and the production team can ensure a quick handling of your full paper.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEFINITE FULL PAPER

In order to manage standardized appearance and structure of almost 100 accepted full papers for INTERPRAEVENT 2012 the scientific committee strictly demands to follow the instructions below:

1. Number of pages: Full papers must cover 12 pages (at least 8 pages but strictly not more than 12 pages). This can for example easily be achieved by varying the size of an embedded illustration.

2. The conference proceedings volumes – consisting of all accepted full papers - will be printed in black and white but will be available in colour at the database of papers online at

3. Full papers can be written in English, German, French or Italian.4. File format: only *.doc files can be uploaded (no *.docx or *.pdf).

GENERAL PAGE LAYOUT

1. Page format: DIN A4, no page numbering!2. All page margins: 25mm (above, below, left and right).3. No text columns.4. Title, subtitle as well as names of the author(s) must be centered.5. The main text is set in a grouped style.6. Chapter headlines: A new paragraph should always start with a headline without numbering.7. Keywords: at the end of abstracts.

THE FIRST PAGE LAYOUT

1. The heading line with the Interpraevent logo is mandatory and should not be changed.2. The title is mandatory3. The subtitle is optional 4. Full names of authors with first name and last name -

Please, do not use academic titles in this line. The corresponding author should be marked bold. The footnote for each author is connected to the affiliation in the footer. Academic titles can be used in the footer.

5. Full names of authors, including title and affiliation (e-mail address of corresponding author optional) should be given in the prepared footer of the first page.

FOOTNOTES

… should be avoided in normal text as these tend to disrupt the flow of the text. Footnotes should only be used on the first page for the authors affiliations.

EQUATIONS

… should be numbered sequentially with arabic numerals in parentheses on the right hand side, i.e. (1), (2), etc. If too long, split them accordingly. When using WORD, the equation editor and not the graphic mode should be used under all circumstances.

UNITS

The metric system is mandatory and, wherever, possible, SI units should be used.

CITATION

Please use references for the citation of any other scientific and non-scientific work. Even project reports should be cited to make your findings reproducible (Jackson et. al, 2009). The reference list should be given in the end of your paper.

IMAGES AND TABLES

All images must be inscribed below the image. All tables must be inscribed above the tables. All images and tables must be numbered consecutively (see Fig. 1 and Tab.1). All image and table captions must be provided in the papers language (e.g. German, French or

Italian) and additional in English. If the paper is written in English only the English caption is sufficient.

Images and tables which cover the whole page width must not overlap the edges Images and tables can, however, also be surrounded by text on the right and on the left
