This Sunday is our 5 th Sunday Fellowship, and I want to invite everyone in 7 th grade and up to come to the FFC. September 24 th is Rosh Hashanah— the Feast of Trumpets, which begins a 10day celebration that culminates with Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement. We will be talking about what these events meant in the Bible, and what they mean to us today. For breakfast, we will have my wife’s delicious French Toast Cinnamon Roll Bake (you’ll love it!). On September 7 th I will be starting another session of the New Believers 101 class, which will run until October 26 th . Since space is limited, please contact me to sign up ASAP. CATECHISM Q. YOUTH  INITIATION  NIGHT       We   will   begin   the   Lock-­‐In   with  the   concert   in   the   Sanctuary.   I   would  like  for  all  that  are  attending  the  lock  in  to   sit   as   a  group.  After   the   concert,  we  will  eat  supper.    There  will  be  games,  a  bon-­‐Fire   and   of   course   some   initiation  tasks   for   all   youth.     We   will   eat  breakfast  and  be  done  at  8  am.      

AWANA  STORE  DONATIONS    Week   after   week,     I   am   always  

proud  of  our  Awana  kids  as  they  strive  to  memorize  more  and  more  scripture.    One  way  we   reward   their   efforts   is   by  giving   them   Awana   bucks   to   spend   at  the   Awana   store   located   in   the  basement.    

One  way  you  can  encourage  our  kids    is  to  make  sure  our  Awana  store  is  loaded   with   some   great   stuff.     If   you  would   like   to  donate,   some     items   that  really   spark   interest   are:   sports  memorabilia,  school  supplies,  toys  (still  in   the   package),   body   pillows   and  itunes   gift   cards.     If   you  want   to   give,  please  see  Tally  Messer  or  you  can  drop  items  off  in  my  ofFice.  (Please  be  sure  to  write  a  note!)
