RHT Rajan Menon Foundation Ltd is a Singapore registered charity and grant-making philanthropic organisation. The Foundation is proud to be the driving force behind the Successful Ageing Project (“SAP”) which is primarily aimed at meeting the needs of our elderly progressively over the next few years. Phase 1 of the SAP was rolled out in November 2017. This involved the initial publication of the eldercare guidebook “As You Are, Now” in English on topics ranging from basic first aid and health matters to financial and personal estate matters which serves as a handy guide for the elderly as well as their loved ones and caregivers. The guide was previously distributed to the various RCs and CCs as well as Lions Befrienders Senior Activity Centres and PAP Community Foundation’s Sparkle Care Centres. For Phase 2, our eldercare guidebook was officially launched by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at a public event on 11 August 2018. For more information, please refer to the announcement on this webpage http://www.rhtlawtaylorwessing.com/news/official-launch-of-rht-rajan-menon-foundations-eldercare-guidebook-by-prime- minister-lee-hsien-loong/. This eldercare guidebook has been published in Singapore’s 4 official languages i.e. English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil. Phase 3 will involve the engagement of our elderly by various SAP supporting partners such as Singapore Red Cross Society and Alzheimer’s Disease Association, who will help raise public awareness as well as to educate and train the elderly and their family members and caregivers on first aid and health and home safety issues affecting them. Phase 4 of SAP will see law students from Singapore Management University Pro Bono Centre (supported by our Foundation) helping our elderly with their wills, lasting powers of attorney and advance medical directives (with guidance from lawyers of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing). This is a substantial and meaningful undertaking which will be timely and will take many years to see tangible results. 27 MAY 2019, MONDAY | 11AM - 9PM Sentosa Golf Club (New Tanjong Course) Guest-of-Honour: Mr Desmond Lee Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for National Development Hole-In-One Prize: Mercedes-Benz C 180 AVANTGARDE & S$50,000 Cash
