Installing Rhinoceros 6 on macOSDownload Rhinoceros 6 from https://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino-for-mac/6/latest/tudelft

Before you beginThe following instruction is supported by the TU Delft and has been tested to be working. However, we offer this manual to you as an extra service. In case you have a configuration or a version of macOS other than the one described here and you have problems installing Rhino 6, we cannot guarantee that a Student IT Desk (SID), a Service Desk or WPS (ICT) will be able to help you to solve installing Rhino 6.

Rhino 6 for Mac does not contain all features found in Rhino 6 for WindowsTo install Rhino 6 for Windows on a Mac you need Boot Camp or a virtual machine (e.g. Parallels) with Windows

1. Enter the following URL in your browser: https://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino-for-mac/6/latest/tudelft Enter your TU Delft email address and click Next.

2. Check your email for a download link and a license key. Didn’t get the email? Please make sure:• You use the correct TU Delft email address.• Add support@mcneel.com to your contact list.• Check your junk mail folder.• Check your forward email address, if set.

3. To start your download click on the link in the email you have received.

4. Wait for your download to finish. Depending on your internet connection speed this can take several minutes.If a window pops up, choose Allow.

Installing Rhino 66. Drag and drop the Rhino 6 app icon into the Applications folder icon.

5. Open the downloaded DMG file.

8. In Finder go to Applications and open Rhinoceros. Before opening Rhino it will first verify your installation.

7. Wait until all is copied. This can take several minutes.

10. Rhino opens.9. If you get a warning, choose Open.

12. Enter the license key you have received by email (see step 3) and click Continue.

11. If you will use Rhino only on your MacBook, choose Enter your license key. If you want to use Rhino for Windows (e.g. with Boot Camp or Parallels), go to step 19.

14. Choose Yes to use Rhino on a single device (only on your MacBook).

13. Choose Use Only on This Computer. If you have changed your mind and want to use Rhino on multiple devices choose Add To Your Rhino Account.

16. Choose Skip Registration, if you do not want to register.

15. Enter your TU Delft (student) email address and continue.

18. Close the window and Rhino will open now.17. Continue to validate your license.

20. Enter your email address of your Rhino account. Alternatively, create a Rhino account if you do not have a Rhino account.

19. If you want to use Rhino on multiple devices (e.g. on Windows with Boot Camp or Parallels) choose Login. If not go back to step 11.

22. Choose Add a license to add your license to your Rhino account.

21. Enter your password of your Rhino account.

24. Your Rhino license is now added to your Rhino account and ready for use on multiple devices.

23. Enter the license key you have received by email (see step 3) and click the Add License button to continue.

26. Rhino opens with your license information from your Rhino account.

25. Hit Try Again to associate your license with your Rhino application.

28. If you have received your new license key, continue with step 11 or step 19 depending on your choice. You do not need to download and install Rhino again.

27. Choose Change your license key. If you do not have a new license key, reqeust a new one (step 1).
