4As the time moves the life style of the persons has completely changed and there is no time for the people for micro management of every issue personally. So, this is the right time to provide some space to the technology into our lives for monitoring the issues which requires our personal presence for the things to happen. One among those issues which require our personal presence is receiving the courier which is sent back if we are not present at the time the courier boy comes to our house. This may lead to the delay in receiving the data and in some scenarios it may also lead to tough situations. So our project aims in providing a very reliable and very user friendly solution to overcome this kind of problemABSTRACT5PROBLEMS IN EXISTING SYSTEM

Now a days we using simple courier system to deliver things. The Problem based of the ordinary courier system is ,when a people are not in the home we cant deliver the things .This Problem was overcome by using this project. In this Project we are used to GSM ,RFID reader and Microcontroller to solve the problem RFID card(courier)RFID reader

8RFID reader is the circuit which generates 125KHZ magnetic signal.

This magnetic signal is transmitted by the loop antenna connected along with this circuit which is used to read the RFID card number.

RFID READERImplantable RFID chips designed for animal tagging are now being used in humans. An early experiment with RFID implants was conducted by British professor of cybernetics Kevin Warwick, who implanted a chip in his arm in 1998. In 2004 Conrad Chase offered implanted chips in his night clubs in Barcelona and Rotterdam to identify their VIP customers, who in turn use it to pay for drinks.

GSMGSM will enable desktop or web based applications for 2-way SMS & WAP Push. It can be used with GSM modem or phone handset connected to the PC serial port using a data cable or Infrared device etc.GSM is a digital system with an over-the-air bit rate of 270 kbps11ATMEGA8 MICROCONTROLLER

ATmega8 is a 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR RISC architectureUp to 16 MIPS Throughput at 16 MHz32 x 8 General Purpose Working Registers

14WORKING A passive RFID tag is employed which holds the identification number. It has an chip for data holding, processing, modulating and demodulating a RF signal. The antenna is for transmitting and receiving the signal. And the tag is read by the reader through mutual induction.15Continued.To design the entire system we require a microcontroller which acts as a medium of communication between the RF reader and the GSM modem. The communication between the reader and the controller is ensured by USART and between the controller and the GSM is by AT commands16

EEPROM:Non-volatile memory.EEPROMs can be programmed and erased in circuit. When larger amounts of static data are to be stored a specific type of EEPROM such asflash memoryis more economical.

FUTURE SCOPE The system has been designed for assured delivery of mails. It doesnt allows the wrong mails. With the help of GPRS the status of mail box can be determined at any time. GPRS doesnt need any signal coverage where as it is not in the case of GSM. Large scale implementation can reduce the human work and time. The cost can be reduced over the mass production of the unit.

20Advantage

Using this technology we can easily deliver the courier to home.

It is safety one compared to other methods.

RFID Passive Tags were cheap. Disadvantage

Compare to large scale application Product cost is high.It is difficult to implement to big cities.
