If the Albany political bosses had their way, their hand-pickedpuppet would already be on his way to the Senate chamber torubber stamp the backroom deals they cut months ago.But conservative Republican Juan Reyes is determined to stop themin the Primary Election on September 13 and he needs your help.

Sadly, Albany politicians in both partieshave put their own interests first. The resulthas been the loss of tens of thousands of jobs,higher taxes, falling test scores and graduationrates, and more and more people leavingNew York each year to got to other states.

Juan Reyes wants to use the experience hegained working for Mayor Rudy Giuliani,Senator Bob Dole, and Defense SecretaryDonald Rumsfeld to bring jobs and growthback to the Empire State, so his daughters andall our children can have a future right here.

Most of Juans family came to America fromIreland and Italy in the early 20th century,hoping for a better life for their children andgrandchildren. Juan is proud that all of hisancestors came to our country legally.

Juan attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrsand Saint Davids School for Boys. He went

to the Browning School for Boys and EmoryUniversity, graduating from Quinnipiac LawSchool.

An attorney, he worked in Washington forSenator Bob Dole, and Donald Rumsfeld, ourformer Defense Secretary.

When Juan returned to NYC he joined theGiuliani Administration, working at theDepartment of Youth Services as DeputyGeneral Counsel, and later as a Counsel in theOffice of the Mayor, and then as a GeneralCounsel at the Board of Standards and Appeals.

A partner at the prestigious international lawfirm of Reed Smith LLP, working in the Business& Finance and Real Estate Departments, hechairs their Land Use and Zoning division.

Juan has been married to Meaghan OBrien-Reyes for ten years. They live in Forest Hills withtheir three daughters, and their dog, Nugget.
