So how did it all begin?I use to watch my uncle and my godfa-thers DJ Force 1 and DJ Selector Russmix. I played my first set at a family bar-beque. As i got better i started to dolocal parties and then ventured out tothe city. I started doing internet radio onSAR FM radio where I met people suchas Timothy "Holla" Hopewell, SeanKeys, DJ WildStyle, and DJ Hype1.From there I met Dj M. Breeze who putme on with Primetyme Radio.

Where did the name come from?Back when i was in high school djing Iwas calling myself DJ Mix. People werestill stuck on me being a drummer sothey didn’t believe it. Until they recog-nized me as a DJ, every party I got onready to "prove" them wrong. I got the

1Fifty when I came to SAR FM radio. The host "Holla" couldn't get my nameright and after he heard me play juststarted calling me 150. It caught on so Iadded it to my DJ name. There’s manyDJ Proofs but only one DJ Proof aka1Fifty.

What gave you that initial push?My love for music has always given methe drive. I love the feeling of thecrowd going crazy to my mixes andbeing in control of it.

Did the Djing, Production, Promotingcome 1st?Nah, God comes first always. Anyonethat really knows me knows that I'mmore than a DJ. I'll admit I grew up inthe church and I know where my bless-

ings come from.

Who's throwing the best parties atthe moment?M. Breeze, Obey The Promoter,Hollywood Chuck, and Dueces WildEntertainment.

What's the best event you've playedat/put on?The best event I've ever played atwould have to be Jim Jones privatebirthday bash hosted by his mom,“Momma Jones”. I’ve done a few eventsfor her and now I’m her official DJ.

What advice would you give to upand coming DJs/Promoters?Don’t come out here half stepping. Ifyah gonna be real about it, then be real.
