Purpose
This document describes Release 2.6.26 of the Revolabs HD firmware. The purpose of the Release Notes is to communicate
new features and changes since the 2.3.6 firmware release.
Scope
The 2.6.26 release affects the Base Station and microphones for all HD Products.
About this Release
Release 2.6.26 is a major update to the HD firmware offering improved audio codec and provisions the systems for use with
future HD products. This release of firmware is accompanied by a new release of the HD Control Panel (ver. 2.6.49) which
now includes the HD firmware installer for all HD products. These new installer tools should be used to install version
2.6.26.
The 2.6.26 release is not backwards compatible with previous 2.3.x firmware releases. However, 2.6.26 is completely cross
compatible with 2.6.x firmware versions. Installation of 2.6.26 must be performed on the Base Station and microphones at
the same time. If Base Station or microphone(s) are not updated, audio quality will be jeopardized.
