    FOREWORD/ INTRODUCTION

You've probably found your way to this eBook from my blog. However you got here, I'mhappy you're here. I wholeheartedly believe that what I share in these pages will makeyou laugh and cry and inspire you to look at your life in a fresh, divine perspective.

Before we get started, let me tell you a few things about what you can expect and whatmotivated me.

I wrote this guide because I had myself in mind.

Before you think I'm selfish, let me explain.I got started trying to reach people with the Gospel when I was about 13 years old.

I was an average popular kid in high school and a pretty good student, but what reallydefined me had always been my strong love for God. Since you're reading this you will

probably agree with me that once we care about God, it doesn't take long until webegin to also care about what He cares about. That's exactly how I got started withthis whole thing called "Revival". More than anything I wanted to reach people withGod's love and see His kingdom expand on earth. The only problem was I had no cluewhat I was doing or how to get started.

I went through it all. The heated arguments, uncomfortable and embarrassing situations, the feeling of pressure to have to go and talk to everyone I know about Jesus and thewell known guilt if I hadn't spoken up. I even got beaten up a couple of times (Ill tell youmore later).

It's no secret that most believers feel their stomachs crunch at the sound of these tenfrightening letters E-V-A-N-G-E-L-I-S-M. We have all experienced defeat at some point. The problem is that a large percentage of Christians leave it there. They allow theirpast negative experience to define their future expectation, which is one of thebiggest mistakes one can make.

My goal with this guide is to change that.

You see today when I look back at the past 10 years of my life, I am overwhelmed withcountless memories of divine encounters and glorious victories. I've had the privilege tosee literally hundreds of people get radically saved. Amongst them drug dealers, gang

members, pimps, witches, even principals, teachers, politicians and CEOs. God allowedme to share in the joy of destroying the works of the devil and establishing His kingdomin power and love in many countries and continents. By His power and grace I was ableto equip thousands of believers across the world in a supernatural, spirit-led lifestyle ofrevival. And I'm only 24 years old as Im writing this.

The good news is, if God can use me, He can (and wants to) use everyone!

On these pages I wrote exactly what I would've needed when I was starting out toavoid a whole bunch of frustration, burn outs and be able to immediately stepinto a lifestyle that shares Jesus with ease, fun and success.

If youre a leader, be assured that what I share will also help you equip and activate

those around you.As you're reading this eBook, I am confident you will feel God breathe a fresh spirit ofboldness and victorious anticipation into you.

CHAPTER I - WERE ALL CALLED TO A SUPERNATURAL REVIVAL LIFESTYLE

I don't know about you, but I grew up in a church that taught evangelism was only forthe ones who felt a "special calling" to reach the lost. Maybe they didn't phrase it exactlylike that, but they certainly practiced it that way and as we all know what you practice

usually speaks louder than what you preach. It didn't take long until I became seriouslydissatisfied with the gap I was seeing between the powerful impact on society biblicalChristianity was having on one side and the once-a-week Christian gathering, that didn'teven seem to lastingly impact and change the lives of the ones in attendance on theother.

I mean werent we all supposed to see even greater things than Jesus? Was tithingand service attendance really the only things we could learn from scripture?

When I compared the life of Jesus with what I knew as normal Christianity I ended upwith something like this:

healed all the sick rarely prays for sick people

had authority over every (amount of)demonic spirit(s)

    is afraid of demonic realms

raised 11 world changers seeks a leader, but doesn't lead others

encountered God intimately every day likes to hear stories about othersexperiencing God

performed many outstanding miracles forGod's glory

believes God can perform miracles, butsomehow won't

spent most of his time with the sick, hurting and pretty messed up people

spends most of his time with other believers

spoke in a way that cut right into people'shearts

rarely speak with passion or revelation

wasn't impressed by religious acts, butwas interested in peoples hearts

seeks to change people's behavior, not theirhearts

If you're like me, you like to ask yourself tough questions like these:

"Why am I not seeing the things Jesus promised in my life?" "Why is that person still sick?"

"Why are my neighbors and pre-believing friends not impacted by my life andwords?" "Would my city even notice if my church shut down tomorrow?" "Why are crime rates and unemployment increasing and church numbers

    decreasing?"

Well, first off: thanks for asking these great questions! The first time I began wondering about these marvelous things I was about 15 yearsold. Eventually I got to the point where I decided that if biblical Christianity wasn'tpossible today anymore, I could no longer be a Christian. I mean why should I onlyexperience 10% of what Jesus promised? For me it was a question of all or nothing.

    2 POSSIBLE ANSWERS:

After a while I figured there only really are 2 possible answers to those questions andpowerless Christianity in general:

POSSIBLE ANSWER 1: Revival, Miracles & Healing have ceased when Jesus wentback to heaven (God's the issue)

POSSIBLE ANSWER 2: Revival, Miracles & Healing are available today, but fall into

believer's authority and responsibility. In other words: we today are called and equippedto carry on Jesus' ministry, but forgot how to (were the issue)

Since you're reading this guide you'll probably agree with me that answer #1 iscompletely unbiblical. If you're uncertain I recommend you to take a look at the articleseries I wrote on my blog about the history of Christian Revival. In it I outline everymajor supernatural move of God from 30 A.D. till today, giving proof that God's kingdomhas never ceased to manifest in power.

Alright so knowing that revival has been happening throughout the last 2,000years we are still left with the question: why not today and in my nation or city?

This is exactly where most charismatic believers are stuck (and where I was stuck). Inour need to try to explain why revival is possible today, but still not happening around uswe typically find this explanation:Only very few are "chosen" to carry out God's kingdom in powerful and supernaturalways... and those few must be on vacation right now.Can somebody dial 911? We need to cut out a big old lie here!

8 WAYS THE NEW TESTAMENT ESTABLISHES EVERY BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY:

    1. Jesus sends us the same way He was sentJohn 20:21 Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.

    2. Jesus gives us authorityLuke 10:19: Behold I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, andover all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

    3. Jesus promises us "greater things"

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have beendoing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

    4. We have the same Holy Spirit Jesus was operating out ofRom 8:11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as

God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by thissame Spirit living within you.

    5. The 5-fold ministrys purpose is to equip every believer for ministryEphesians 4:11-12 And he gave some (to be) apostles, some prophets, someevangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the saints for the work of ministry...

    6. The gospel spread as believers spreadActs 8:1&4 At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was atJerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles... Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching

    the word.

    7. We are heirs of ChristRom 8:17 And if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ...

    8. And partakers of His divine nature2 Peter 1:4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises,

that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature...

If you want to learn more about your authority I highly recommend you to listen toAndrew Wommack's free audio series "the believer's authority.

Alright, now that we're on the same page and agree that God is waiting for us to releaseHis kingdom on earth and not the other way around, let's begin with what this guidereally is about: The practical ways we can launch into a supernatural revival-lifestyle!

    CHANGING WHAT WE DO:

I certainly didn't have all the answers or claim to have them all today, but what I didalways knew is this:

If we keep on doing what we've always done, we'll keep on getting what we've alwaysgot. This ain't no rocket-science, right?

Here are a few other ways to say it: To make a difference we need to act differently. To bring change we need to change what we bring By changing nothing, nothing changes.

I think you got it by now.

THE BALANCE BETWEEN POSITIVE THINKING AND "HUNGER FOR MORE"

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about positive thinking and focusing all the beautiful thingsGod is already doing in our midst and we'll get into that in more depth later on when wetalk about the power of our imagination and thought life. Right now I want you tounderstand what caused me to step out of the norm and explore a Christian Lifestylethat I didn't see anyone model around me.The first sign that God wants to do more than what you're seeing at the momentis a "holy dissatisfaction". In fact, I guarantee you that at the beginning of every move

of God in the history of Christian revival and reformation there was a man or a womanwith a burning desire to see a change. Many of them even willingly laid down their livesto see this desire for a new expression of God's kingdom on earth fulfilled. I could giveyou a whole list of them, but thats for another time.

Author and Bible School Director Kris Vallotton (Youll find out I like to quote this guy)once put it this way:

    "vision gives pain purpose."

In other words: great achievements will always require great sacrifice and no onesacrifices greatly, if they aren't seeing a worthwhile reward on the other side.

THE FIRST TIME I STEPPED OUT:

It was summer 2006 and it was my time to walk through that pain my vision was givingme purpose for.I was a completely normal teenager. I didn't feel powerful or "anointed". I actually wasstruggling with depressive thoughts and low self-esteem issues on daily basis.

Nevertheless the day arrived on which the above listed revelations hit me so strong thatI knew:

"Daniel, you either go downtown and experience what it looks like to be led by God, oryou leave it and stop dreaming about greater things."

Needless to say the latter wasn't an option for me anymore and I decided to take thetrain downtown without telling anyone. This was going to be Jesus and me and I didn'tneed anyone witnessing the embarrassing mess I was trying to prepare myself forinwardly. I still remember how nervous I was when I arrived on the large public square ofmy hometown's downtown. It was a sunny summer-day and thousands of people werestreaming up and down the large pedestrian shopping mile. I worked my way through tothe middle of the brought street and stood still. I didn't really know what to. The onlythought in my head was about Jesus being led by Holy Spirit and only doing what Hesaw the Father do, so I prayed: "I am here and want to be used by you. Please lead meto whoever is in desperate need for you."

Nothing.I was aimlessly looking around expecting some sort of supernatural sign to appear.Maybe an angel pointing on a person with his fiery sword. Unfortunately that didn'thappen. Determined to see a breakthrough I kept standing in the heat of the sun, tryingto scan every single person passing me and looking for some sort of heavenly sign.Thirty minutes into it I still hadn't made any progress. Then suddenly I noticed a teenage boy and girl sitting on a stairway about 80 yardsaway from me. I didn't know why but I couldn't seem to take my eyes off them. It waslike they were "highlighted" to me.It dawned to me that maybe this was God speaking to me. I tried to think of a cool wayto approach them, but the longer I thought about it, the more insecure I got. I simply

couldn't think of anything "cool" to say and hit off a conversation with them. It was likeevery possible way to approach someone suddenly felt incredibly stupid to me andsimply didn't work out at all in my imagination.

After I had finally decided to just walk right at them and say "hi". Anything happeningform there would be God's responsibility.

A few moments later I stood right in front of those young people, they looked up at meand I said "hi whats up?".

After a few sentences of smalltalk they asked me "so why are you talking to us?" andthe only answer I had was "well this might sound crazy to you but I felt God sent me totell you that He loves you and has a great plan for your life."I was shocked to see the two instantly being moved to tears. "Did I say something

wrong?"A few moments of silence. Then the boy said "Well we've both been wanting to take our lives for weeks now. Todaywe felt like we had no reason left to live and said if God existed and cared about us heshould send someone to tell us about Him."I was shocked. Actually it was more than shocked. I was in awe. The presence of Goddropped so heavily that I began to fight tears.

I spent the next 3 hours with those precious young people, explaining the Gospel tothem and leading them to Christ. I will never forget how instantly transformed they wereas they got filled with supernatural joy and began to laugh like they hadn't in months.

The 3 Things I Couldn't Get out of my mind after this encounter:

On my way back home in the subway, I found myself on cloud 7. In all my years asbeliever, I had never felt so close to God and so filled with His joy. I couldn't even fallasleep that night until the early morning, because I was so overwhelmed by therevelation of God's goodness and couldn't stop thanking Him for using me to introducethose two new friends of mine to Jesus and His everlasting life.

There were 3 thoughts I couldn't get out of my head for months to come:1. Why had no one ever told me how powerful I am?2. What was possible if I did this every day?3. What was possible if a whole generation of believers tapped into a lifestyle in whichencounters like this one become normal?

The dreams and opportunities on revival seemed endless inside my head as I began todream with GodIn the next chapter I want to share a few fundamental revelations about the topic ofreality with you. There are a few things you absolutely have to know about the powerof your perspective to be able to break free from whatever limitations the enemy tried toput on you. It's going to be extremely powerful and freeing so let's get right into it.
