    Art. 156: First Aid Treatment every employer shall keep first aidmedicines and equipments as the nature of the work may require, inaccordance with the regulations imposed by the DOLE.

    Employer will provide for the training of employees in first aidtreatment.

    Art. 157: Employer will provide with free medical and dental attendanceand facilities.

    (a)more than 50 to 200 full time RN

    Exception: when the work is non hazardous graduate first aider ifno RN is available. DOLE will provide if employees are less than 50

    (b) more than 200 to 300 full time RN, part time physician anddentist, emergency clinic

    (c) more than 300 full time physician, dentist, RN, dental clinic,infirmary or emergency hospital with bed capacity for one every100

    HAZARDOUS WORK PLACES the employer will not engage the services ofa part time physician who cannot stay at work for at least 2 hours, andless than 8 hours if full time.

    NON HAZARDOUS physician and dentist may be on retained basis. Itnegates the ER EE relationship.

    Art. 158: Emergency hospital is not required if there is a hospitalaccessible within 5 kilometers or can be reached within 25 minutes. Theemployer must provide for the transport in emergency cases.

    Art. 159: The Physician shall develop a health program for the benefit ofthe employees of his employer.

    Art. 160: Health personnel shall have appropriate training in industrialmedicine and occupational safety and health. The Secretary of Labor shallestablish the qualifications, criteria and conditions of employment ofhealth personnel.

    Art. 161: ASSISTANCE OF EMPLOYER to ensure the immediate medicaland dental treatment to an employee in case of emergency.

    Art. 162: Safety and health standards to eliminate and reduce hazards

    Art. 163: RESEARCH develop innovative methods

    Art. 164: DOLE shall develop training programs to improve thecompetence of health personnel

    Art. 165: DOLE = administration and enforcement of safety and healthlaw. However, chartered cities may be allowed to conduct inspectionsprovided that they have adequate equipments and competent personnelapproved by DOLE subject to national standards.

    DOLE may collect fees for the inspections of steam boilers, pressurevessels and pipings and electrical installations. The fee collected will be

    deposited in the national treasury to the credit of the occupational safetyand health fund. Fees will be used by DOLE for the administration andenforcement of safety and other labor laws.
