The introWithin the first 30 seconds or so we can already see that this music video is going to be good. With the effects that create a sense of mysterious it makes the music video have a sense of thriller. Within the first 30 seconds we can also see that their are various different types of editing going on. With the simple cuts to the cuts that blur in these type of editing techniques allow the music video to continue the mysterious type of theme. We can also see the colour match within the music video. The actor is dressed in black and the location is also in dark colours.

The next 1 minuteWhat happens next is something that I really like within this music video. Firstly, the change of location is seen more and that there are only 2 locations within the whole of the music video (easy and simple) but also the range of different camera movements. We see the most common movement such as a close up which is greatly use; but we also see track in and out as well as a pan. This allows to build tense and to continue the mysterious feature. I also like the fact that the actress is the main focus. We can see from the picture below that the actress is the main focus. This is because that the background is blurred out and she is the only one in focus.

The 2 minute markUp two the 2 minute mark the music video has been very good. We have seen various different camera movements and different types of editing. The music video continues the sense of mysterious by having the actress in dark places and close ups. We can see below that a long shot is taking place. This gives us a rough idea of where the location is.

To the end of the music videoAfter the 2 minute mark the music video continues to produce the sense of mysterious and includes the variety of different camera movements and editing. The effects of smoke become even more visible and even covers the actress at one point. In my opinion this music video in some cases does become a bit repetitive. This would be due to the simple locations. However I would still say it is one of the best music videos I have seen produced by a student.
