THIRD SUNDAY IN LENT

Domingo 24 de Marzo de 2019

3rd.

aprender a escucharlo.

desapariciones, asesinatos, delaciones, miedo, desesperanza...

mercado, pagan sueldos "estrictamente «justos»” y

¡ciertamente no!). ¿Y los

frutos? Individualismo, hambre, pobreza...

PRAYER BLANKETS

Prayer blankets are made possible by many caring volunteers at St. Ambrose Catholic church. The blankets are lap size, made with two pieces of material, sewn with love and prayers for those who receive them. The prayer blanket is a symbol of the community’s faith-sharing, covering the individuals who use them with prayer. The blankets are made by volunteers who commit to prayer as they make them. A piece of yarn is tied around the blanket which reads, a prayer blanket to cover you, St. Ambrose church.” If you can help, please call sister Charline 713-858-1613.

A Silent Retreat July 19 -21, 2019

For the first time in recent memory, Holy Name Retreat Center is offering A Silent Retreat. All conferences will be delivered by Retreat Master, Fr. Joe Barbieri, C.P. This retreat is open to men, women, and married couples who wish to attend. The theme is taken from one of the letters of St. Ambrose of Milan: “When we take up the Sacred Scriptures in faith and read them with the Church, we walk once more with God in the

Garden.” Extended Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be offered during the retreat. Any questions can be answered by speaking with Patty Masson at (713) 464-0211.
