Revelling in Rivolis www.spellboundbead.co.uk Sunray Pendant Made around a 14mm Rivoli this is a quick project with maximum sparkle. To Make the Sunray Pendant you will need - One 14mm light vitrail Rivoli (FS115) 1.5g of DB1851 galvanised light pewter Delica beads A 1g of 15-0015 silver lined emerald size 15/0 seed beads B Eighteen 3mm fuchsia pink crystal bicones (CB320) C Ash colour size D Nymo beading thread A size 10 beading needle. 1 Prepare the needle with 1.5m of single thread. Referring to the Rivolis - Make a Bezel download make a bezel for the Rivoli starting with a ring of 36A. Leave the needle attached. 2 Pass the needle through the beads to emerge from the second row of A beads from the front of the Rivoli (fig 1). Thread on 1B, 1C and 1B. Pass the needle back down the C bead and thread on 1B. Pass the needle through the next A bead along this row (fig 2). Repeat seventeen times to add all eighteen C beads. 3 Pass the needle through the adjacent bead on the third A bead row ready to add the bail (hanging loop). The bail is made using Square stitch. Thread on 2A and pass down the next A along the third row so the new 2A (bead one and beads two) sit side by side with the holes parallel (fig 3). Fold the strip to make a loop and connect the end to the fourth row of the bezel. Finish off the thread ends neatly and securely. Reposition the needle to emerge from the top of bead one. Thread on 2A. Pass down bead two, back up bead one and the new 1A above it (fig 4). Thread on 2A and repeat to connect the new 2A to the previous 2A (fig 5). Sunray Pendant

Made around a 14mm Rivoli this is a quick

project with maximum sparkle.

To Make the Sunray Pendantyou will need -

One 14mm light vitrail Rivoli (FS115)

1.5g of DB1851 galvanised light pewter Delica beads A1g of 15-0015 silver lined emerald size 15/0 seed beads B

Eighteen 3mm fuchsia pink crystal bicones (CB320) CAsh colour size D Nymo beading thread

A size 10 beading needle.

1 Prepare the needle with 1.5m of single thread.

Referring to the ‘Rivolis - Make a Bezel’ download make a bezel for the Rivoli starting with a ring of 36A. Leave the needle attached.

2 Pass the needle through the beads to emerge from the second row of A beads from the front of the Rivoli (fig 1).

Thread on 1B, 1C and 1B. Pass the needle back down the C bead and thread on 1B.

Pass the needle through the next A bead along this row (fig 2).
