According to Jesus, what is that mark? Read Romans 6:23a, and Ezekiel 18:20. What is the result of sin? What can you do on your own to earn God’s favor/grace/salvation? Read Isaiah 64:6 and Ezekiel 36:17. What does God think about our “righteous deeds”, or the things we do to please him and attempt to hear his favor? Is there a difference between doing “righteous deeds” to please God and doing “righteous deeds” because God loves us? Explain. Read Romans 5:8 & 6:23. Also Read Ephesians 2:8-10.
