ONLINE GIVING MATCHING GIFT CHALLENING FOR OUR LADY OF THE LAKE PARISH

A generous Catholic family from outside our parish has made us an

incredible offer. If families sign up to make weekly/monthly, recurring

gifts to OUR parish, the donor family will match those gifts, dollar for

dollar.

And, if your family already gives electronically but increases that

weekly/monthly gift by any amount, the donor family will match your

entire weekly/monthly gift.

To all the 75 families that have signed up and the 48 families that have increased their regular

recurring online donations, thank you!

We are still short of our goal, but we have until the end of this month to have our donations doubled. You have until August 31st to join us in this chance of a lifetime. Please consider joining our families that are helping us get closer to our goal. All it takes is an increase of $1.00 or to sign up for online giving.

HOW CAN YOU HELP OUR PARISH RECEIVE THIS CHALLENGE DONATION?

1. Go to www.ourladyofthelakeromancatholic.org, then to online giving tab and follow the

directions to set up an account. If you have any questions, need help to sign up, or you don’t

have a computer, please call Donna in the Parish Office at 928-855-2685. 2. Sign up for scheduled weekly/monthly offertory for the first time OR increase your current

scheduled weekly/monthly offertory.

3. Every gift that is received between June 1- Aug 31, will be matched dollar for dollar!

Women’s Bible Study The Wednesday morning Women’s Bible Study has started gathering again using Webex.com (online video meetings). Meetings started on Aug. 5th. We meet every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and we will be going through The Wild Goose. The Wild Goose is a video series reflecting on the work of the Holy Spirit, which is awakening in the hearts of all those participating in God’s love and transforming power. This is a love that has been revealed to us by Jesus Christ and that leads us to our heavenly Father. As you walk through this series, pray for the Spirit to breathe life into your heart. Youth Ministry Registrations

If you have a 6-12th Grader, we are accepting registrations for Youth Ministry, which includes Jr Hi and High School Ministries. Registration is $35 per student, with a maximum of $75 per family. Meetings are at 5:30 pm Wednesdays for High School, and 7:00 pm on Monday’s for Jr. Hi, and will be on Webex.com until physical distancing restrictions are lifted.
