Journey to the high Andes with traditional Curandero Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta who will guide you throughout each step of your personal process to connect more deeply with your heart and who you truly are.

Each day will be a gift of sharing traditional teachings to allow us to more fully understand and ground ourselves in the symbology and spiritual mapping of working with the Andean teachings and in particular the Mesa (Andean Medicine bundle). Each temple, sacred site and ceremonies throughout our time together have been intentionally chosen and woven together to create this powerful moment in time for each of us.

This sacred journey is best suited to individuals who have made a commitment to deepening their spiritual practice and to a path of experiential learning through traditional teachings and ways of understanding.

About your guides and facilitators in Peru:

Jhaimy is a Traditional Curandero (Healer) from Cusco, Peru who has been trained and initiated in the wisdom teachings of the Northern coastal region and the Southeastern Andean region of Peru. Jhaimy began his initiation onto this path at a young age, and has apprenticed with Master Teachers in the Alchemical mystery teachings of transformation and transmutation.

As a keeper of Ancient Wisdom, he has been invited to share his knowledge and lead ceremonies at conferences, workshops, and specialized tours throughout South America, Canada and Europe.

He holds a degree in Tourism from La Universidad Andina del Cusco, is the Founder of Traditional Andean Medicine Tours in Peru, and has presented lectures and public talks at Trent University as an invited guest of the Indigenous Studies Department.

He is a regular featured guest speaker in events across Canada as part of the Andean Wisdom Teachings series through Children of the Seven Rays, and is best known for his heart-centered and humble approach to healing and spirituality.

Today, Jhaimy continues to be committed to the SERVICE OF LOVE; and, through ceremony, ritual, and healing practices, he supports people in moving past their limitations in order to liberate and connect with their heart and their purpose.

Liz DiazMeditation & Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, Life Coach

Canadian born to Peruvian parents. Liz has been leading community rituals along with personal and spiritual development events since 2012. Her mission in life is to create sacred spaces where people can connect deeply to themselves and spirit. Finding expansive levels of self love, empowerment, happiness and health. Itinerary (subject to change or adaptation as required):

DAY 1 - Morning flight from Lima to Cusco (approximately 1 hour travel time). Airport pick-up in Cusco and check-in to the hotel where you will have the afternoon free to rest and acclimate to the altitude. There will be a welcome dinner and orientation together in the evening Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 2 - During the day we will have the opportunity to visit the sacred sites in Cusco and the surrounding areas including Saqsayhuaman, the Qoricancha temple (energetic centre of the Andean world) and other historical, cultural and spiritually significant sites. This will give us a strong grounding and context for the Andean culture that we will be exploring and discovering during our journey together. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 3 - Travel by private car to the Sacred Valley and en route we will visit the visit the Ccochahuasi Animal Sanctuary followed by the visit to a traditional market in Pisac where there will be beautiful authentic weavings, sacred altar items and spiritual tools. We will spend the afternoon visiting the sacred Pisac temple and learning of the genetic coding and seeds for the new humanity that the Ancestors of this region were cultivating for thousands of years. Evening traditional Despacho offering and fireside teachings. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

DAY 4 - Today we will visit the magical Ollantaytambo site which is connected to the teachings of the four elements and the energy of the Llama - service of love. There will be time to also visit a stunning pottery/artisan collective in Urubamba to see how traditional art-forms are carefully and lovingly being preserved. Evening teachings connected to the Mesa/Andean medicine bundle and the four elements. Overnight in Sacred Valley.

DAY 5 - Travel to Machu Picchu by early-morning train. (approximately 2 hours) We will have the afternoon free to explore the eclectic town of Aguas Calientes and its colourful markets. Evening teachings connected to Harmonizing the 3 bodies (serpent/puma/condor) and group healing meditation. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 6 - Early morning shuttle bus to welcome the new day at Machu Picchu and connect to the energy of the Condor - liberation. We will have a full-day at this sacred site with time to visit the temples, learn of the ancient history of this mystical city and connect with the powerful energy of the Apus (Mountain sprits). Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 7 - Early morning return train to Ollantaytambo and travel to Cusco via the Sacred Valley. We will visit the community of Chinchero and their incredible weaving collective and then have the evening free in Cusco. Option of attending an arts and cultural dance performance. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 8 - Day of integration and closing circle. This day will also be open for personal healing sessions and traditional coca-leaf readings with Jhaimy. In the evening we will gather together for a celebration dinner. Overnight in Cusco

Day 9 - Flights back to Lima to connect with International flights OR embrace one of the options below to connect in a deeper way with the medicine teachings of Peru

EXTENSION OPTION #1Lake Titicaca Region & Ceremonies with Apu Huachumita:

DAY 1: Early morning travel to Ayavidi/Tinajani via Raatchi. Visit local community and learn of current projects & initiatives. Overnight camping in the magical valley of Tinanjani and participate in sacred ceremony while deepening the Andean teachings as connected to the stars and the Akashic records. Please note that for this one night we will be camping in tents with sleeping bags and mattresses.

DAY 2: Travel to Puno and visit Los Uros Islands - floating Islands. Spend time learning about the construction of these islands, learn about the community that has lived there for thousands of years and the wisdom teachings and creation stories from the Lake Titiccaca area. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 3: Ceremony and teachings at the Aramu Muru energetic gateway. Working with the energy of the serpent of light and of transformation, transmutation and the Alchemical teachings. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 4: Personal and group integration day in the Lake Titicaca area. Celebration dinner together and overnight in Puno.

DAY 5: Depart Juliaca for Lima (this airport is approx. 40 minutes from Puno) to connect with international flights later that afternoon or evening. * if you would like to spend some additional time in Lima we can arrange this for you as well.

EXTENSION OPTION #2Amazon Jungle Retreat & Ceremony with Mama Ayahuasca:

Day 1: Travel by plane from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado and then transfer by bus and river boat to jungle retreat centre. Afternoon guided jungle walk to explore the flora and fauna of the region and to ground and acclimate ourselves with our new surroundings. Overnight at retreat centre.

Day 2: Today we will visit a local animal sanctuary and have the opportunity to experience a magical jungle canopy walk high above the rainforest. Late afternoon/early evening will be spent resting in preparation for our evening ceremony together. Overnight ceremony.

Day 3: A full day to rest, rejuvenate and mindfully integrate our ceremony from the evening before. Overnight at retreat centre.

Day 4: Today we will visit with a local community along the Madre de Dios river and learn of their traditions and way of life as we share a traditional meal together. In the evening we will have a celebration dinner together and our closing circle. Overnight at retreat centre.

Day 5: Travel by river boat and then bus back to Puerto Maldonado airport to connect with flight back to Lima. Connect with International flights that afternoon or evening. * if you would like to spend some additional time in Lima we can arrange this for you as well.
