Introduction• We chose to open “Nike Store” as a Retail Outlet.• This will be pure specialty store.• A store specializing in a particular type of merchandise or

single product of durable goods or range of normally complimentary durable goods product categories is termed as a specialty store.

About Nike..• In Jan.1964 as Blue Robbin Sports came to be known as NIKE.• NIKE means wing goddess of victory.• William J. “Bill” Bowerman and Philip H. Knight are Founders

of Nike• Nike is into manufacturing and designing of Athletic shoes,

Apparels, Sports Equipment and Accessories.

Location • We select Inner City of Mumbai i.e. South Mumbai (Town).• We are opening our store at Lower Parel.• Being in South Mumbai drawing people during business hours

is easy.• Pedestrian traffic is also attracted.• Residential area footfall is also expected after business hours.
