Foundations to be 1:2:4 mix (cement, sharp sand, 20mmaggregregate) with slump wellcompacted and in layers and levelled. Drains passing throughfoundations to be seperatedfrom concrete to allow movement.

Excavations are to be dug to a minimum depth of 1m and to atleast the depth of the existing foundations and below the invert level of adjacent drains. Any trees, whether young, mature or removedwithin the last 12 years, that are within 30m of the proposed site may effect the final depth of the foundation.Final depths of excavations to be approved by a building control surveyor prior to placing concrete.
