“Life is a state of embryo, a preparation for life. A man is not completely
born until he has passed
through death.”

“Early on the first day of the week, while it was dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the
entrance.” (v. 1, NIV)
Notice that Mary Magdalene went first to the tomb. Panic ensued.
First, Mary Magdalene had a big problem. How can she enter the tomb? Now that the stone “was taken away” she had another problem. Where is the body of Christ?

“they have taken the Lord out of
the tomb, and we don’t know
where they have put him.” (v.2, NIV)

“So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.
Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter

cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.”
(v. 6-7, NIV)
