Extensive work with metals, exotic metals and Kynar plastic including: 316 S/S, 416 S/S, Stellite, Hastelloy C (Alloy C), Tungsten Carbide, Carpenter 20 (Alloy 20), Monel, Titanium, Tantalum, Phosphorous Bronze, Titanium Nitride (ceramic) Coating, Inconel, Carbon Steel, Brass, and Bronze.

Summary of Qualifications

More than twenty-seven years of hands-on, technical and mechanical experience and knowledge, including technical understanding of production, assembly, repair, shipping, and receiving of valves, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and electronic actuators, as well as billing and customer relations.

Served in interim role for six months in the absence of Unit Lead at Badger Meter’s Tulsa facility, responsible for supervising and supporting staff and all departmental operations relating to valves and valve repairs, including electronic assembly, production, repair, shipping, receiving, billing, company and customer relations, and communications between departments and the Milwaukee office.

Instrumental in reparation of customer relations and retention of a major nuclear power plant account based in Ohio. Requested by that power plant’s representatives to be the person to contact and handle the repair and return of a very highly valued valve. Due to the high monetary and production value of this particular valve, the plant was otherwise reluctant to have it removed from their facility for the necessary repairs.

Effective communication with managers, supervisors, departmental personnel, co-workers, and customers in processing, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating workloads and staff to meet production schedules and customer needs.

Developed and continue to use innovative fixtures and processes that increase efficiency and productivity, including the construction and use of several fixtures to hold valves that have special bodies in place during assembly or repair, and a brass sleeve to slip O-rings more efficiently onto zero adjustment screws for BLRAs and TLDAs.

Strong work ethic and commitment to providing quality products and exceptional customer service in a timely and accurate manner.

Experience in Lean environment with previous training in Lean 101.

Honored to have the respect of colleagues, co-workers, and customers as being considered the Go-to person for answers and assistance regarding valves.
