Analysis of Shell Intersection of Pipes under Loading.

Devised and modified different MATLAB routines for the “8 node 3D-Shell element” and verified the performance of MATLAB routines with standard 3 test cases provided.

Simulated stress and thermal analysis of the element under shell edge pressure and thermal load in ABAQUS (simulation software by SIMULINK). Compared the results of ABAQUS simulation with the results generated in the MATLAB code.

Design of Ultra High Performance Concrete.

Explored several concrete mixes designs to create a modified mix design of own.

Prepared and tested samples, compared the results with the standard M30 concrete and achieved 10% satisfactory results with a concrete of strength of around 100MPa or more.

Delivered a seminar on the work undertaken and received appraisal from the jury.
