Ph.D Research work: Rapid immunodiagnosis of brucellosis in human and bovine (ICMR-ADHOC, Gov.of.India.)

Responsibilities:

Developed a sandwich ELISA assay for the detection of Brucella outer membrane protein

(porin) in human and veterinary sera samples using highly specific and sensitive

monoclonal antibodies for the diagnosis of brucellosis.

Developed an indirect ELISA for the detection of specific antibodies to recombinant

Brucella Outer membrane porin. The work was carried out in collaboration between

(CBST), VIT University, Chistian Medical College, Vellore and Department of

Veterinary public health and preventive medicine, TANUVAS, Chennai.
