Mobile Community Assister, WV Healthy Kids & Families Coalition Morgantown, WV Nov. 2014 Jan. 2015Objectives were to educate West Virginia citizens regarding the Affordable Care Act, to aid individuals in understanding how the Act will affect themselves and their families, and to facilitate the enrollment process by referring individuals to In-Person Assisters. Coordinated with various groups throughout the north central region of West Virginia in order to present to interested parties employees, members, or clients. Additional responsibility was to engage with individuals in an effective, culturally-sensitive, respectful, and informative way.
