I worked for 2 years with Ascom India Pvt. Ltd, as Service Engineer reporting to the Head of Servicesdept. Ascom is a Swiss based Telecom Power Systems major and supplies electronic DC power solutions to
the leading wireless operators & equipment vendors in India. I had the opportunity to closely work with the technical teams in Designing, Installation & commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of
electronic power systems.Later I was appointed as a Area Manager for Ascom India Pvt Ltd Sales and Services for Gujarat and
Maharashtra Circles.
Major projects handled –
Independently installed the Input protection devices in many systems all over India in the
systems given to Emerson Network Ltd.
Installation & commissioning of several power systems at Bharti Touchtel, Bhopal. Independently calibrated and rectified / trouble shooted problems with power systems atseveral sites of Airtel Mumbai circle, Maharastra, Gujrat and Goa, to help Bharti Cellular
(Motorola was the vendor) launch the network with over 1200 sites in record 6 months.
