PROJECTS: 1) KNIGHT-RIDER BLINK PATTERN: The famous KNIGHT RIDER LED blink pattern of clock cycle of 0.125s is implemented on the DE2i-150 board at 8Hz. ALTPLL generates the frequency which passes through the Johnson Counter to assign the Gray code to each LED forming a pattern. 2) GENERATION OF FADING CHANNEL: Using MATLAB various Rayleigh & Jakes fading are simulated and optimization analysis are produced. 3) ULTRASONIC NANO-TRANSCEIVERS AND NANO-TRANSDUCERS: The project aims to design the devices at Nano level such that they can operate at high frequencies. 4) DESIGN POWER BEAM PATTERN: For a given set of beamformer weight values array power pattern was plotted using MATLAB that was observed to have the maximum value of the output power pattern which are used for signal reception at 0°. 5) COMPRESSIVE SENSING FOR ECG SIGNALS: This project designs the construction of high resolution image from a low resolution image using the concepts of compressed sensing. This uses reduced number of samples as compared to the Nyquist criterion. 6) IMPLEMENTATION OF FFT on DE2i-150: Modular approach was used to realize the implementation of FFT that included creating Signal generator module, FFT computation module, oscilloscope module, VGA controller module. 7) WEARABLE ANTENNAS: Analyzed the use of wearable antennas including the design & characteristics that are implemented 8) KINECT BASED HUMAN POSE ESTIMATION FOR WIRELESS MOTION CONTROL: Using Microsoft Kinect SDK various poses of human skeleton were estimated to wirelessly control the motion of the bot.
