ACADEMIC PROJECTS Hospital Management System : This project dealt with creating a user friendly and efficient
desktop based application for handling of database of a hospital efficiently which included keeping records of patients, doctors’ salaries, other staff information, pathological information, billing information for patients .Technology Used: SQL and Java Netbeans.
Spam Filtering : The project involved developing a spam filter using Naïve Bayes Classifier (machine learning) based on dataset provided by Enron. The project resolved difficulty faced earlier like rare words handling hence increasing accuracy of legit email classification.Technology Used: Python, NLTK.
Intrusion Detection System on Class Imbalanced Data : The project involved detecting and classifying attacks based on NSL-KDD dataset which consists of highly class imbalanced attack distribution using information gain feature selection using ranking method to give more weightage to features important to minority classes and oversampling them. Improved G-Mean score was found by training and testing on Decision Trees and SVM.Technology Used: MATLAB, WEKA.
EXPERIENCES AND ACHIEVEMENTS Won Dianik Bhaskar Brain Hunt 2012. Merit certificate in 10th class from MHRD. Stood 3rd in Gwalior region merit 12th board result. Won Udbhav Utsav 2005, inter school painting competition organized by officials in Gwalior. Works as Co-Coordinator at Drishtant, The literary society of MANIT Bhopal. Organized Ripple, Central India’s largest literary fest in 2016. Organized CodeWars in TechnoSearch’15.
TRAINING
Done project namely “Business Intelligence” at L&T HED Powai for 4 weeks. The project required making reports using softwares like SSRS (Report Builder), data analysis
and integration using SSIS (Business Intelligence Development Software) and SQL server.
