PROJECT DETAILS (College):

Title : Virtual Classes

Aim : To provide online education and flexibility to attend classes and check notes as per user’s own convenience

Description : The project named ‘VIRTUAL CLASSES’ provides the users a place to learn various courses online and with flexibility to attend classes and check notes as per their convenience. Registered users can login to the website anytime to collect information, notes, or to check out the videos of recorded classes.

CURRENT PROJECT:

Name : UI Managed Regression (Shell) Aim : Run and maintain Duration : August 6th 2014 to present

Objectives:

Validate that existing functionalities in the system are not negatively impacted by the introduction of new applications or functionalities via CR, DR, or SIR.

ECC Regression Test Scope will cover testing based on critical end-to-end (10) business scenarios. This approach will guarantee that the data generated by the transactions are complete and correct.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify/Detect functional and technical problems in the testing environment before the bundle/changes are migrated to P* Production systems

To ensure all problems are resolved and that ‘Go-Live/ Cutover’ proceeds smoothly without impacting production operation.

Adopt a risk-based business process testing (i.e. to focus more on critical business processes) and to ensure end-to-end data flows up to financial documents. The findings also insisted that the involvement of business users in determining the test scope and criticality of the business process being tested is crucial as this is the fundamental in providing services that meets the original business requirements.

Analyze Functional Requirement and Product Requirement Documents to get a better understanding of the system on both functional and business perspectives.

Coordinate with development team / client to get test data and leverage best practices like, standardized templates and defined test methodologies.

Convert the use cases of the product to test cases and Prepare Test data for the inputs of the test cases.

Responsible for logging defects, monitoring their status and tracking them to closure.

Enhanced the Test Scripts using parameterization, checkpoints and regular expressions.

Responsible for Automation frame work design and integration and trial runs of scripts to make sure that the test suite runs smoothly without manual touch.
