Summary
An empathetic and caring proactive problem solver with a bachelors of science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State
University. I am eager to gain experience outside of the classroom as someone who is a fast learner, critical thinker, hard worker,
and enjoys a challenge. What I may lack in engineering experience outside of school and personal projects I make up for in skills
acquired from my restaurant experience such as empathy, team management, and customer management that you will not find in
your everyday engineering candidate.
Education Bachelor of Science:

• Basics of programming in C and ARM assembly language
• Communication networks and digital logic
• Experience designing with Cadence tools, Keil microvision, HFSS, Sonnet and PCB artist software
Circuits and Systems
• I have competed the basics of circuit analysis and design, including Laplace transform and phasor analysis, as well as
analysis of electronic circuits
• I have taken courses in control systems, communication networks, power distribution, and principles of electronic
devices
Electromagnetics
• I have had multiple courses concerning waves and their behavior focusing on Maxwell’s equations
• I have completed course work in electromagnetic compatibility and gained experience measuring radiated and
conducted emissions
• I have completed extensive classwork on transmission lines, including determining S and ABCD parameters
• I have experience with micro-strip antenna and patch antenna design, as well as experience using a network analyzer,
SWR meter, and oscilloscope
• I have used HFSS software to model a microstrip branch line coupler designed to match a given Z0 and frequency; I
have also modeled a T-line, individual microstrip patch antenna, and microstrip patch array antenna.
Group Design
• Worked with a team to design, program, and test a device composed of a LED array capable of reproducing any
specific frequency on the electromagnetic spectrum in order to test solar cells in a more efficient manner.
• Contributed to, organized, and edited the writing of a proposal, presentation, progress reports, application notes, a fast
diagram, a business model, a Gantt chart, and a final report with all findings and process of design.
Work History Server: Olga’s Kitchen, Brighton, MI
