PROJECTS

MUTUAL FUND DATA ENTRY TOOL: 2013 This is a tool used by the data entry team in the company to enter the formatted financial data into database and also perform QA on the data. The financial data are Scrapped from the Websites and given to data entry team as pdfs and excels to enter the fund related data into the database. Once in a month the data were sent to the client using ftp. The process of data scrapping and the data exporting were scheduled jobs.

FUND API: 2013 This API is a pro API to search for the fund related data using some search criteria based on which the funds were searched. All the criteria were selected using check boxes and radio buttons. The search results changed dynamically depending on the criterion selected. Once the funds were selected the fund related data were displayed. Since the API is a pro one, there was a restricted access for some search criteria which were accessible only using the API key.

BROWSER APPLICATION FOR DEFECT TRACKING: 2012 This project was to automate the process of defect tracking in the IVV group of DRDL. It developed an interface through which the admin can enter the testing and the defect details and send the ids to the developer. The developer could sign in into his account and then request the defect by entering the ids, writing back his response. The Admin update the defect based on the response given by the developer.
