SKILLS
• Methodologies: UVM, RNM, Formal Verification;• Programming languages: C/C++, Assembly (MIPS), Perl, Python, Verilog HDL, SystemVerilog,
SPICE, MATLAB/Octave;• Applications/Tools: Xilinx ISE, Altium ISE, Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Encounter, HSPICE,
Spectre, UVM, RNM, ModelSim, ChipScope;• Natural Languages: English, Tajik, German, Russian, Turkish, Persian(Dari);
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
• Teaching Fellow for Logic Design course (09/2010 to 12/2012): Taught 100 students the basics ofdigital logic design, Verilog programming, as well as supervised final projects.
• Teaching Fellow for Computer Architecture course (09/2012 to 12/2012): Taught 45 studentsRISC architecture, microprocessor design (pipelining, multi-cycle execution, instruction set design)design-for-test, as well as microprocessor test automation.
OTHER PROJECTS
• ”NSFW” Programming Language: (In progress) Toy programming language (esoteric) cre-ated using Flex, Bison, and LLVM. Currently in progress and is scheduled for May 2015.
• Hardware SPICE accelerator (FPGA): (Incomplete) FPGA accelerated SPICE simulator formixed-signal systems. The node matrix solver was written in Verilog and implemented on XilinxSpartan 6 board. Project failed due to limited bus bandwidth of a conventional FPGA system,
• Hardware Background Subtraction using FPGA: (Complete) Implemented image back-ground subtraction algorithm on Xilinx Spartan 6 chip (using Verilog HDL). Two step processwas developed: dynamic background detection and background subtraction.
• Handwriting Calculator using ANN on FPGA: (Complete) Using Verilog HDL a hardwareANN was developed and trained to recognize handwritten digits.
• Microstrip PCB 1-GHz Receiver/Transmitter (ASIC/PCB): (Complete) Designed usingAltium ISE. Design included HF PLL synthesizer, patch antena, RF power amplifier. Testingperformed using Agilent instrumentation (oscilloscope, spectrum/network/logic analyzers).
