Rebuilding Lives• Despite what they went through,
survivors never clamored to be heard, and did not demand attention. Instead, they quietly went about the business of rebuilding lives, and reconstructing the societies in which they lived.
Problems With Housings• In some of survivors’ houses, other
people occupied it and never gave it back. The belongings and everything else were also taken away.
Religions• Almost everybody continued to follow their original religion.
Education• Some went on to complete
their education while others completely started over their education.
Medical Care• Even though many people
didn’t discriminate the Jews, there were some who still did. So, the survivors got the best treatment. However some doctors were not being fair, and they would misdiagnose.
Moral Values• The survivors tried their best to
not hate anybody. Not only that, but they also taught their children to not hate anyone.
What People Did To Forget The Tragedy
• To forget what the survivors had been through, many people started learning new languages, eventually got married and had families. By doing this, they believed that they would forget about Holocaust.
Why Are They So Important?• Survivors of Nazi persecution are
special because of the fact that they survived and the wish to narrate it to others.
